Bummer but he ain't out of anything. Their season is over and he has plenty of time to heal up.

I think Jeffrey should just stay on the couch until the season starts, and cover himself in bubble wrap

Right. Don't even go out to fetch the mail

Herlings took to social media and said, "Little crash that was out of my hands. We're all good, don't stress."

Make of that what you will.

The most fragile rider in the history of all motor sports.

It’s surprising because it looks like he’s built very solidly.

One would think KTM has GOT to be sick of this kinda shit......  Fast made of glass gets old.  He can always land a ride based on name, cut their losses and let him become another teams letdown.  Too fragile......

Unreal speed, but taking Stew's reputation to a whole other level.  Take out the 250 titles where he stayed in the class for 20 years and he is nowhere close to one of the greats.  Too bad

He’s won every title he’s completed. And even won some where he missed multiple rounds. He’s really freaking good. You can’t talk about the best without including him.

I think he should change his name to Jeffrey Healings.

Lol.  And that's not many in big bikes. He has the equivalent or arguably less than two outdoor titles.   All the best have wrapped up titles before the season is over numerous times.  Perfect season?  Nope.  Supercross?  Nope.  Great rider and crazy fast.  Yes.  One of the greatest?  Nope.  Crashes from riding over his head or making poor choices?  Yes.  Made of glass?  Yes.

Man I hope this isnt true. He definitely needs a fresh start. We have yet to see if itll work or not but maybe he needs to do what chase did and change teams, get a new number, new sponsors, new scenery, ride with different ppl… idk. At the very minimum he and ktm should probably part ways with eachother amicably and go in different directions. Tomac has expressed so much how moving to a new team really re-lit the fire and RV has said he wished he had tried a new team. It couldnt hurt.

He has the most GP wins of any rider.  Jeffrey is an all-timer.

100%. Crazy talk to not call him one of the greatest. But everyone's criteria is different so to each their own

Stop counting support class 250 titles with 11 guys on the line.  Compare his actual GP class wins/titles.

So many opportunities for this to happen at a beach race at his speed

Absolutely not his fault! Can hear him yelling at the other rider most likely out of pure frustration.

I don't have to not count those since they are GP wins.  Do we just throw James Stewart's 125 wins out the window?  When we say that RC has a 150 wins, do we throw out the 26 wins that he got in the 125 class and say he really only has 124 wins?

Nope but we don’t count their 250 SX wins that have point out rules because they are an entry class. The 250 MXGP class is an entry class that not everyone can race, hence those race wins don’t mean as much. Heck he even had them change the rules when he was supposed to be moved up, definition of sand bagging.  You can disagree with it but sometimes the truth hurts.

This talk about Herlings not being one of the best is silly. Dude is a bad man on a dirt bike.

But man is he frail. That crashed looked so benign.

Feel for the guy because if he had bones like Jeremy Sewer he would have about 9 MXGP titles by now haha

The truth is that Jeffrey has the most GP wins, and that his 250 wins count just as much as his 450 wins in the record books.  The sanctioning body of the GP's counts Jeffrey's wins, so your personal feelings aren't relevant. It is not an entry class; if there is a feeder class in MXGP it is the EMX classes.  MX2 is a class with World Champions in it, they run a full season, and it's just as competitive (sometimes more) than the MXGP class.  It is a World Championship, not a regional supercross series.
