Doesn't anyone else think that Reed looks like garbage on the Kawasaki?

At least compared to his time on the RMZ. The corner speed he had last year is not there. He still looks quick through the whoops and in the rhythm sections, but he is still getting his crappy starts. Could be a long year for him, I think.

Some people (champions) do not consider having one bad finish to be the end of the season. Some will use this to motivate them to overcome the odds and come back next week even stronger and more hungry for a win.

At the end of the year the champion will be the one with the best average for all not one of the races......and there is going to be several different people standing on the top step of the podium at rounds this year. Dungey, Reed and JLaw could be one of them.

I was wondering the same thing. I know they have wheels in the karts usually, but I guess they would have to bring them down all the way to the track to be allowed to use them. I know it has been done before in the Outdoors. If it is just that...they have to have them in the signal area to be allowed to use them....who wants to bet all the teams will have a set of wheels down there with them now?? Could have had it changed quick and he probably could have gotten back close to the top 10, I bet.
aloud?

maybe yer thinking of spare mufflers, not wheels because mufflers on those 4 strokes are aloud in sx. Smile

HAHA!!! Thanks for pointing that out BobbyM!! I am always so critical of others too. I guess that's what I get for posting on here with EXPERTS like yourself. My bad.

So RC and Stewart are his only competitors. That's a great compliment.

Agree totally ..was turning that yellow thing on a dime... hopefully the kawi geometry compensates in other ways (thru da whoops etc)....

the last 2 years his starts have been tragic and he always was a great starter previously so WTF is going on...who knows?

It's funny..some people want to say Reed's going to win it no matter what, some say that Reed can't win with healthy competition. As for me, I think now we'll see just what Reed's really made of. Will he suck it up and come out stronger, or will he crumble under the pressure? We'll see.....

I think the pressure has eased a bit now. For better or worse. But I agree, we will see what he's got.

Reedy is my boy , but dang! How much is he gettin paid for that show? Man get another wheel on and get your ass back out there. Kawi aint payin that dough for you to sit and look at the race. Chad this happens. Get back on the bike and make team Green proud. Or somthing like that.

Apparently Reed doesnt think the Kawi is all that bad, if he wanted to, they could make the Kawi mimic the Suzooks handling to a T. They're Factory Kawi fercrapsakes.

Guess who gets to be in James' heat races for a while and watch his lines?
Who? If your talking CR...he doesn't get to be in JS7's heats to watch his lines??? Practice times determine who is going to be in which heat...I think that Reed still has as good as a shot as anybody. It's SX...everybody usually has a bad race or two...especially JS7..we all know that he hits the dirt every once in a while. There is so many variables that can happen to everybody. If RD keeps on the box every weekend...I think he can win. (Knowing JS7 and RV). I have never seen anyone DNF due to spokes so it's all up in the air still. I have seen mechanicals with engines, tires, chains..so it's still gonna be a good season

I didn't like his 'tude at L&M. He went to zuki, and he looked great on the bikes, and his attitude seemed lightyears better.

He definitely doesn't look so hot on the kawi's. I hate that him and Villopoto have to wear that standard monster gear... makes them look like any other rider.

I'll tell you what, last year Reed had an opportunity to punt JS at Phoenix in the final turn and take the win. He said he didn't go for it because he has the points lead and didn't need to. If he gets an opportunity like that this year, you know damn well he will take it being 23 points down.

Can't see Reed reeling it back in. He has Dungey to contend with aswell as Bubba.

Dungey isn't the one to throw races away.

Why didn't he have them replace the front wheel and go back out and finish the race? Some points are better than nothing.
I was just talking about this with a friend.. There was a couple riders the did not even finish..

I didn't see Reed at A1 but personally he looked better on the kawi than the suz at the Brisbane round, he was railing the corners pretty quick, maybe the kawi is better suited to that, if A1 had a lot of tight switchback?, maybe they were struggling with set up?

Reed's good to go on that green beast.

My thoughts, Reed is in an ivory tower. He has been, that comes with winning as much as he has. He better find his mojo and quick or he is going to have the best seat in the house for the race.

What do you expect him to say? The championship is over and I will just cruise and collect a paycheck.
