10/17/2013 6:28pm Just curious, how does the amateur deal work? I obviously know that if you haven't entered an AMA PRO event, you are considered an amateur. But what if you have raced local stuff as a pro, and made money doing it? are you still considered an amateur?

10/17/2013 5:46pm I'm sure I did but just wasn't sure how a so called "amateur" can go to local races and collect Pro purse money? That makes them a pro in my eyes. Axel Hodges raced and collected money a few weeks ago from the pro class. Seems ridiculous to me
