Just curious, how does the amateur deal work? I obviously know that if you haven't entered an AMA PRO event, you are considered an amateur. But what if you have raced local stuff as a pro, and made money doing it? are you still considered an amateur?

Amateur All-Star Class
Paul Coates, Jordon Smith, Luke Renzland, RJ Hampshire, Thomas Covington, Dakota Alix, Jace Owen, Aaron Plessinger, Tyler McSwain, and Cody Chisholm I believe have all raced local pro and some at Loretta's. All had to receive an invite, so I guess they are good to go

I'm sure I did but just wasn't sure how a so called "amateur" can go to local races and collect Pro purse money? That makes them a pro in my eyes. Axel Hodges raced and collected money a few weeks ago from the pro class. Seems ridiculous to me

It is a A/B invite only event. At most A class races you get paid money even if you are not Pro
