In all honesty, the trickest Works stuff on factory bikes today is the stuff you can't even see. Electronics, software logic, data acquisition, etc.

Mxav8r, nice work man, you've got some time in that bad boy! I need to find myself some anodized alloy banjo bolts, always a proper cool little touch.

Great Honda content too, can't argue with the might of HRC 💪

Check out Pro Bolt. Ive used them for street bike stuff before. Good website, good selection, quick shipping. They have alot for any/all types of motorcycles.

To me, the YZM500 from 87-88 is the most bad-ass works bike ever. That thing was way ahead of its time.

IMHO the trickest stuff you can't see is in the engine.. well until now 😂. For example:

Didn't I hear Broc say in an interview he regretted loyalty putting him at a disadvantage when it came to his equipment?

Big Toyota fan, big Yamaha fan, well aware of their involvement in the preceding decades and today... that bike is an absolute shit piece and daaamn that rear disc with the Toyota logos... savage 😂 I appreciate (presumably/hopefully) the guy posted it as a joke 👍

Nice work gentlemen, some real cool stuff in here thank you 👍

Poppanator, what was that slightly later YZM *I think* 250? White and pink, I believe one of the two or three built was stolen from the van at a race? I vaguely remember a brief DocWob writeup on a late 90's UK magazine mentioning the bike and the theft years before.

Yes, my comment about it being a nice disc was sarcastic!

I wonder how many jumps it would take to break the wheels!

LOL! No offence taken. It does look like they put a lot of effort into that bike, though, and probably more money than a factory bike. I believe they turned the cylinder around before Yamaha released their backwards cylinder. None the less, it does specificall qualify as "super trick shiiiiit"

I do not remember what year it was but JGR had one like this on display at Steel City one year.

With the NASCAR cars in the background This one was probable on display at SEMA or a NASCAR race

Not a big Swap fan, but he did a solid job on this. Interesting as the Japanese events always are and detailed photos and well written.

https://www.swapmotolive.com/japanese-works-bikes-trick-parts-racers-and-more/features/

Also noticed the late Everts two stroke pics from the two stroke thread have disappeared due to hosting fails if anyone has any kicking about, some of those bikes (the 500 too) were very trick.
