I recall Michael saying they'd be green, hopefully that wasn't in reference to the claw. That BRG/brown seat cover looks great!

Can Monster buy another company and use that to sponsor some of their teams?? Cheers to them for supporting the sport, but man every team is Monster!

Literally no one is shocked that this is truly a Black KTM. Just got the frame and suspension off a '06 YZ250F. lol Which is fine. We know that Triumph and KTM share investors. So half the plans came from older KTM's as a base and the other half was actually built from the ground up. The KYB suspension will be the best part of that bike. A lot of Austrian bike riders will be switching brands just for the suspension swap. WP is terrible and no one wants to admit it.

I mean even if thats the case (which it is even if ppl wanna get mad about it) that still creates an entirely different bike to choose from which is a win.

The promise that ktm told when they bought husky that it was going to start out as a ktm and then over time differentiate itself with its own development to become its own thing that would be at the premier end of the scale… never happened. Same with gas gas going for the low end, its still a red ktm.

At least now with triumph it really is happening this time. This bike with its own frame and kyb suspension is going to be completely different than the ktm. Its definitely smart on pierrer mobility/bajaj/ktm groups part because they now have something for everyone. The ppl who hate wp or air forks but like ktms now have a place to go.

It’s literally a black KTM…it’s literally a 2006 Yamaha…It literally half an older KTM…

They actually dug up blue prints from a 2008 KTM to build 50% of the bike, but then the other 50% they didn’t use those blueprints..

It has KYB suspension but same bike as a KTM.

Geezus some post ridiculous..Laughing

The US spec bike should have some differences from the Euro spec.

I think the AMA rule book has some limitations with carbon fiber components (specifically the subframe). And I wouldn’t be surprised to see an American-made exhaust.

Reminds me of the THQ/Rainbow studios bikes that you have to ride before unlocking anything new in the MX vs. ATV franchise.

At least the bike still has potential to be a really good bike. We'll have to see after a few tests and customer reviews. Even if it is a black KTM, its still a different bike with really good suspension.

And whatever happened to the "it'll look radically different than any other bike on the track, it has its own style"? Because that was a lie.. They could've made a radically different exhaust that was slim & lining the wheel well to where the exhaust is almost non existent.

Also I thought the AMA rules say bikes can't have a carbon fiber subframe. Unless that's part of the production rule, so if its sold that way its legal.

Carbon on the production version is ok.  Can’t replace non-carbon standard subframe with carbon.

Yup, I think that's what I read. Can't change it to a carbon subframe, but if it comes standard on the bike its fair game. Nice.

There are a million other energy drinks out there, it would be nice if a few more started advertising with mx/sx just to change up the logos on the bikes. I remember rockstar almost left husky, but luckily they worked it out.

One of the energy drink brands is called full throttle, I think that would be a perfect fit to advertise in mx.

Anybody who was in the military and deployed over seas you know allll about these bad boys..

Its so weird how common these were over seas but Ive never once seen them in the civilian world. These would go perfect with the red bud 4th of july graphics kit lol.

Rip it is sold everywhere in Minnesota.  Gas stations, Walmart, even menards. Used to be $1.00 now about a buck twenty five.

Honestly, so does your Mother. However, she still enjoyed the nice seafood dinner. Tell her to wait by her phone. I may get desperate again.

Rip Its are typically found in the US at Dollar Tree/Dollar General stores.

I don't think the other energy drinks have the same amount of budget as the big three, Bookoo tried and failed.

I just learned that full throttle is owned by Monster, so I suppose they don't want to be competing with themselves? -Edit, Monster owns quite a few of the other smaller companies

No green claw, but to me, it is too close to this from a branding standpoint:

I thought the same thing, black with bright yellow highlights was not the right move
