Not going to be Honda. They have zero budget. Will be a bright color and looking at a second rider. One that has surprised many factory riders this year. Stay tuned. Its in the very early stages. A former #14 might be involved too.

Exactly what is a bright color with respect to MX?  Outside of Triumph, aren't all the colors bright?  Bright Blue?  Bright Red, Bright Green, Bright Yellow, Bright orange?  Black isn't bright, but many Husky's are more white than black, so there's that.  Could you please narrow it down to a primary color or secondary color?

The last I heard and along the lines of what ML has been saying…

HEP deal hasn’t/didn’t happened.

Ziggy doing something with Dylan seems to be the direction things are moving in and Dylan’s people are currently looking for sponsors/$. I don’t necessarily think Honda is out of it; but, they have their hands full and I’m pretty sure any HRC involvement would require some sort of lease deal -OR- the somewhat expensive purchase of certain factory parts…very few of which…in my humble opinion…are actually needed. Maybe a few trans parts, ECU/electronics and the really good Showa stuff? 

 

All things considered, I’m thinking Ziggy has a certain way of doing things & that “certain way” has a history of producing results. VERY GOOD RESULTS!!! So…there’s always that. Laughing

Sounded like some serious funding (just to cover staff for the season needed to work on the project, along with materials, etc) needed to be found to make it work...

Could FC become more of a permanent resource for HEP and provide more motivation for DF to go there? They seemed to help a lot for Kenny, regardless of if he stuck with them or not.

Wasn't too long ago there were rumors of Webb to Ducati for 2024 on a new 450.  Maybe DF could slide into that spot?  Or maybe Puch comes back as another Austrian brand...  green/white/yellow KTMs might be nice.

That rumor was absolute BS since the Ducati won't be in the US until at least 2026.

Didn't mean to take anything from KDub, but I'd rather have only one major title over being the eternal runner-up.

Ooh and Dylan "whine" because Yamaha let him down and didn't listen to him about bike development for the new yzf450, and despite this he managed to finish 2nd behind the untouchable Jett.
