Can Jett beat Febvre at Ernée

Jett is surely gonna be selected to represent Australia for MXON in France.

Lately, Romain Febvre has been on a roll as he won 6 of the last 7 GP's.

Last MXON in Ernée he went 1-1 pretty easily and he has always been very good out there. Can Jett get that challenge of beating the prince of Ernée on his land ?

No clue but it’ll be good if they start together.

The thing with Febvre is, he's no ''oh you gonna pass me, I'll move to the side'' type of rider.

I think the start going to be critical for either rider, but  in general the Mxgp boys are better prepared for the mxon  mainly due to the depth of competition difference between the 2 series at the moment. Jett had great starts 99% of the time & is not used to high level race craft on the 450 as much.

Well we certainly saw Jett take his time, and very precisely, make his pass on barcia in moto 1 saturday.

He knows his competitors history.

Typical first choice ok then 2nd he knows the track to well🙈🙈. Really

Do you really think for those guys it’s a game changer how long each individual rider knows the track. give me a break 🙉. Just accept Febvre might  beat him because he is a genuine fast guy

Barcia and Febvre are not the same calibre lol

on top of that, like the other guy said, Febvre isn’t gonna move over. Everyone in the AMA field has basically rolled out the carpet to let Jett bye.

I was wondering same. Where’s the option where I think he may be just as good or better than Jett, period

I don't think the guy from France that created the poll would have any problem accepting Febvre is a genuine fast guy.

I noticed that later on aswel 😅 he should have more trust in him  and back him up by legit reasons then to hide for Americans perception of home country advantage that’s Bs and please  don’t go there it’s really weak and not respectful for those guys capabilities

Americans? You do realize the subjects of this poll will be racing for Australia and France, right?

the guys on this forum who respond are American and might be a few aussies here ok but it’s about trust in their speed not how reliable their speed is in another country those guys do that shit every weekend 😅

So far in this thread we have responses from France, Latvia, Great Britain, New Zealand and Canada. Anyway, sorry you don't like the way the Frenchman worded his poll.

Edit: and now Italy, and Switzerland, and Australia

Fevre can win, as Jett. Prado and many others will be in the game.

Wow that many nationalities, pretty impressive and cool to see but no if you respect those guys for their raw natural speed this poll says Jett is the best and all those other riders well

if their faster it’s because of 💩 that’s this poll

No idea, but Febvre is the type of rider that will put his life on the line to win a race like this though. If he doesn't win it won't be for a lack of trying.
Prado will be good at Ernee as well though. Gajser should be closer to his normal self.

A bit of a comprehension problem,  eh ??

Never said anything about caliber of rider.

Was just commenting on how Jett, knowing what an ass barcia can be, took his time, and timed his pass well against him.

BTW anyone pay close attention to barcia trying to repass Plessinger ??

Came within inches of his classic, take out, move.

Jett knew he had to pass and sprint.

I honestly don't give a big importance to where the rider was born. I think we go to much into that and I won't support a competitor that dedicated his whole life to the sport more than another just because he was born a couple hundreds of kilometers from where I lived.

Both Romain and Jett are great, one his undefeated, the other is not but facing a tougher competition.

I think that beating Romain is a big challenge for Jett, but it becomes an even bigger challenge at Ernée in my opinion, that's it. Smile

Jett has relished and risen to every challenge. I see Febvre as no different.

5 consecutive championships, 20 -0 and how long has it been since someone stuck a race pass on him in MX, or SX?

No way an AMA guy can roll with a GP guy….I thought this has been well established 👌

All I know is I can barely wait, motocross is certainly a whole lot more interesting for Aussies lately.

I think Jett could be Febvre especially since it’s not sand.Jett did win Southwick, but the Euros are certified sand specialists.

Jett would be repping Aus but...he's also the bar for our Nats.  If our boys get smoked I at least want Jett to lay wood to the class.  That's almost as good as a USA win.

To be honest... Jett and Hunta are dyed in the wool Aussies but...like Chad before them...this country has a way of making people their own.

In all honesty...I'll always prefer an American win but witnessing epic racing is more important.  When Villo destroyed the field at Budds....the world said, "holy shit balls...that's how a dirt bike can be ridden".  I don't remember any hate...just amazement.
