Yes I think he's been going just fast enough to Force Chase into a mistake I think he's got a little more in the tank than he's been showing I would like to see it!

Hope he breaks it out at Budds. On my way down to MD right now

Me too lol! Should be a awesome day of racing jealous lol!

How do you know it means that? It's just assumed that you need to ride all the races to win the Cship. But if you don't need to ride them, you don't need to. So, in your season, you're undefeated in every moto. Perfect season if you only need to ride a portion of all the races. It's actually a more impressive stat  that you won that early and undefeated.

You're right in context that less motos is less.

But, if you're able to beat the field so badly that it only took a partial season of riding, that says something too. So depends through which lens you look.

It’s just common sense

Common sense for who? Where does it say you have to ride all the rounds. It says you win the Cship with the most points of the season. Your season needs only be as long as you need to get the most points.

I see both sides, I'm not arguing I'm right or you're right. It's just something new that never came up and both points of view are valid.

Jett doesn't talk or behave like someone who is happy if he loses even a single race. He won't let up. He's got that desire to win like RV, Stewart and RC.

My prediction is he wins out.

Undefeated in sx? No way

I hope I’m wrong. He may lose one or two motos over the next 2 or 3 years. McGrath only got better though,  so I predict he’ll be the champ for as long as he wants to race dirt bikes. He may want to race for the next 15 years.

Yep.  This weekend, as well as the weekend races ahead......  Business as usual.  Work to do.  When one weekend passes, another one will be here soon enough to be handled as well.....

I have no idea how he's spending his money but I'd hope he set mom and pops up right before he started buying crazy expensive sports cars.

Yeah...he won the races but his folks made it possible through sacrifice.  Take care of those that took care of you...first.

His contract probably says he has to race all the rounds. Maybe in a year or two he could get a clause put in that says if he clinches early he could sit out the rest of the season but it's a pretty shitty thing to do to the fans.

I'll go out on a low limb here, Jett will go undefeated for the remainder of 2023.

Nationals, SMX and MXON ( if he attends )

I doubt he'd sit out. He seems to want to win and you can't win if you don't race. It was more of another way of looking at it. We kind of make up these terms as they come up. This is just a new situation that we've not seen before.

After what we've seen this season,  if he wants to win out, he will.

And it will be easy.

This ^^^ would be absolutely awesome, except for Chase and Dylan..

I believe he bought them a house with his first championship winnings. I remember interviews with him saying he was going to do that and was also looking at buying a car wash.

Pretty sure he got the important stuff done early and then bought his toys

This kid is way beyond his years in moto skills and knowledge. I'm sure he thinks about all the aspects from racing to fans and more. The way he let Chase catch up and Jett "just" wins the moto is probably planned. Makes it so more exciting for the fans. He could probably win every race by 30+ but that would be boring for the fans. Moto attendance has been up all year long. He's great for the sport.
