I love that they are doing this and so many people are butt hurt about it. 90% of you aren't buying the bike anyway so what does it matter? They never had a deadline to showcase the bike, so they can roll out the teasers as long as they want. Bobby nailed it already so don't think they weren't expecting all the shit talking. Their playing you guys like a fiddle.
This just shows the kind of world we live in where everyone expects instant gratification. Sorry people, there are other things to worry about other than photos of the 9th MX bike to join the saturated market.
So slow it’s irritating.
F*ck you Triumph, I’ll take a Stark.
Not for nothing but that is a sexy bolt.
Nope, it's just common sense. All I knew is what time the info was coming out (only found that out late yesterday).
It was on a day that didn't line up with LL's, they didn't ask anyone in media to be at a physical location, they said back late last year that the info would be a slow roll-out. At that point it was very obvious it would be a teaser or digital roll-out of some sort.

Here's the number plate that bolt will also hold in place
Brand is investing millions of dollars into our sports, creating new jobs, new racing opportunities...but sure "Fuck them".
My faith in humanity continues to dwindle.
Oh no. I had a LOT more trust in Triumph than a no name company out of thin air and turtle necks. Its the EV publicity stunt, the constant "we're better than every bike invented" claims, and the down payment on something without it even being made yet that was grinding my gears. I have a hunch that the Triumph could potentially be a top manufacturer if they actually built this bike right. But I also don't want it to be another KTM with different plastics. They have a lot of resources BUT not experience in the MOTO world yet. They could make the bike drastically different in the exhaust department with sound and design, but the pixel vid we saw proved it looks too much like a Austrian bike. Hopefully I'm wrong and that was a mock up version bike to throw us off. We'll see in the next 6 to 17 weeks after these episodes...
You never go full waffle.
Shania ❤️ Who cares about Triumph 😎
Eli Tomac runs full waffle.
Yes, seems like a questionable way to introduce the product, regardless if Ricky telegraphed it or not.
Better to wait and have a comprehensive review of the finished products, and then dive deep into the features that matter. Of which the frame, though important, it not getting me excited.
So are/have Stark. Without the messing about.
There’s zero sense in annoying/irritating your potential buyers.
Yeah a slow roll out for a bike that comes out in 2 years is a lot more annoying than taking peoples money and then telling them their bike is going to be a year late.
Whoever’s idea it was to roll the bike out this way is an asshole, lol
Actually you are cause what else are you goin to do?
According to who? Or are you speaking for everybody?
In other news, the sky is falling!!
I'm going to call this thread the Dead Sea because you guys are salty af and it's wonderful
Lot of bunched panties in this thread.....
Pit Row
I'm not going to throw any slander out there. However, my panties are definitely in a bunch after the hype that was given. IMO they blew any further hype wagon or train they had going for themselves.
Here's the other side so you don't have to wait,
Stark teased a bike two years before you could even get one and had multiple delays on top of that. Both brands are investing in the sport, creating jobs, etc but both have had their faults in some people's eyes. So "fuck them" both?
Its a bit Tongue and cheek with those guys ML, I dont think its worth your time trying to get them to retract such a ludicrous statement.
You don’t build hype by slow-rolling something so much (not to mention the bait and switch) that your audience tunes out. I look down on Ricky even more than before for being involved in this garbage.
Sometimes I go full waffle, in the heat of the moment.
A Kawasaki looks like a Green aluminium framed Gasgas . The way that most bikes have the air filter access on the sides comes from Austrian bikes.
I think they are showing how different it is from a KTM by putting out the info like they are. Making the video all about the frame.
All of the brands seem to be adapting the best parts from other brands to their bikes in a way that is a little different. The images I have seen were so fuzzy it was hard to really tell what the bodylines looked like. And if you go back to the first images of the Stark Varg, You will notice that the plastic was Gasgas plastic. Or very very similar if it wasn't. The Husky looks very little like the KTM, and the new Gasgas looks very little like a KTM , it kinda looks a little like and older Husky. But The Austrian bikes themselves do not look like each other. I would say the Gasgas looks more like a Kawasaki than either of its sibling's.
Who said I speak for everyone? I didn't. I'm speaking for the people that agree with me. Read the comments on videos online and this thread. Its dumb that they're rolling out the bike this way. 95% of the comments hate this overhype and roll out plan. Just reading the majority Bud.
The days of waiting for a letter in the mail are over. Everyone is in a hurry and wants whatever now. Triumph is building a bike from scratch and the list of people they have hired is impressive. Things aren't back to normal after Covid and may never be? Who would have ever of thought you would have to pre order a Cargo Van with a 6 month wait? Just maybe Triumph is trying to get it right the first time around?
They haven’t hyped anything. They’ve been silent.
By “audience” you mean yourself.
This is good marketing for a brand new bike that’s never been attempted by this company before. Except of course for impatient oldies that want it yesterday even if it didn’t exist.
Would you rather another say, six months, of dead silence where speculation grows in all sorts of directions with no basis in fact, or a constant feed of good information to build a picture of what the final release will be?
With each release the assurance builds that something is coming and the knowledge base increases. This way the bike stays relevant to those who are interested.
