Get used to what we are seeing. He passed Ferrandis and Sexton at will in a blink yesterday and pulled away. I thought Rc's 10 straight outdoor championships was untouchable and while he is a long way from there and a lot of things have to go right including staying injury free this guy could do it. Currently don't see anyone coming up through the ranks at his consistent level.

I feel for Ferrandis and Sexton. It looked like Jett was comfortable keeping Ferrandis at bay with a 2-3 second lead, and then as soon as Sexton got into 2nd Jett just turned it right up and gapped them both. I hope they both figure something out to make things interesting but the future of AMA Motocross is all Jett.

Because looks like we’re in for an RC type of domination outdoors and MC type of domination indoors, but worse, at least RC had James and Chad to deal with, but I just don’t see anyone coming up close to Jett’s level. It’s hard to believe Deegan is only 2 years younger than Jett too.

RC and Stew were fun to watch because they pushed and pushed. You could tell they rode on the edge when they beat the field by more than 90 seconds. It was exciting to watch. Jett’s domination is a snore fest. Hopefully someone can at least push him so it’s somewhat entertaining. I don’t think most care that he wins, it’s just that it’s a very boring type of riding.

I didn't have a problem in the world with RC's Domination.  To me, THAT was exciting.... knowing that you were seeing domination like it had not been seen before.  I hate it when "anyone can win!!!".  Well, hell, just draw the name out of a hat then.  If I'm racing, I want to DOMINATE, to crush my enemies, see them driven before me, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

And also shoot champagne from hip level on the podium.

RC Forever!!!

It’s just racing bro no need to be weird about it

Jett’s doing amazing, but, and this is a huge but. Let’s not act like Jett hasn’t had way more prep on the 450 outdoors since he was riding half an sx season vs the full time 450 guys. I’ll be interested to see if he can keep up the same dominance next year after a full season of SX.

Kinda like Ferrandis first season of outdoors. Prepped way more on the outdoor side of things since he didn’t make all the sx rounds as a rookie on the 450.

Remember mxdn? How much 450 prep did Jett had then compared to Sexton and Tomac?

Jesus Christ. Have a look at the footage of Jett at the 09:30 mark. The guy is dancing around the track. How the fuck is he so light on the bike?

His vision and processing is like a super computer. I bet he is way stronger than he looks too. Wait until he hits physical peak age.🫣

Yeah, like I said, Jett’s a beauty to watch ride, but I enjoy a good “race” more than watching the top 5 spread out 15-20sec each rolling around the track. At least with RC and James, they didn’t pull holeshots every race, they came through the pack a lot of times. The 250 class is holding my attention the entire race, I watch the start and 1-2 laps of the 450 class and then I’m out.

Yesterday was the clearest indication yet that he has speed in hand and hasn’t shown all his cards yet, this is incredible to watch but I think indoors next year presents a much bigger challenge than this outdoor season

At this point I'm kind of rooting for the streak to continue, I feel like whilst he's unbeaten he will keep trying. But once he's beaten he will switch to just making sure he clinches the championship dont you think?

looks like he's play riding on a MTB.. The way he was using braking bumps to jump down hills was crazy when they showed him jumping down and then compared sexton bulldogging down the hill (who normally looks effortless). it looked like a different part of the track

I was standing by the left hander before the fly jump in the back section. Jett was doubling braking bumps into the inside line and flowing through the corner. Everyone else was plowing into and through the berm. Unreal what he’s doing on the track.

Apparently that’s boring and he’s only dominating because the field is weak 🙄

It's a feast for the eyes to observe. I enjoy watching it. Real craft.

When I started hard enduro lessons I recall trial riders telling me that Jarvis was doing things we watch but don't see. it takes a while to improve one's skills to begin to comprehend what is happening. It can be subtle.

Did Nicoletti ever get as much coverage? it was nice to see him for a while. Frigging fu**ing tree moved in front of him , I swear.

FMOTP is gonna go through Jett for a while. Maybe some MXGP guys will be up to the challenge (not likely)

At 2:15 Jett uses a breaking bump to step down double into a right hander. Anyone that's ridden Southwick knows how wild that is.

Doesn't it just look as though Jett was genetically engineered to dominate MX when he rides. No other explanation really.

You're kidding right?

F1 drivers start racing carts before they are teenagers, and race lower car ranks before they even see an F1 car, Jett has spent those years honing his riding skills, the skills aren't transferable!

What would be the most important “natural skill” to drive a race car? Reaction time/hand eye coordination right?

What would be more difficult, race car to dirtbike or dirtbike to car? That’s an easy one. We’ve seen other Motocross riders transition to race cars before, Jeff Ward, Pastrana, Deegan, Billy Boat was a flat tracker that went to Indy Cars… someone help me out there are others.

F1 is obviously the pinnacle, but the driver is secondary to the car at that level anyway. He’s a Red Bull athlete, get him in a sim and let’s see what he’s got! 🤘🏼

You're right F1 is the pinnacle, it takes more than hand eye coordination to compete in F1, a lot of drivers win in lower categories and fail when they reach F1.

Being a champion in one racing category, doesn't mean you will be a champion in another category.

Jean-Michel Bayle was a naturally on a motocross bike, his results showed his talent...

1988 125cc World Champion
1989 250cc World Champion
1991 AMA 250cc Supercross Champion
1991 AMA 250cc National Champion
1991 AMA 500cc National Champion

but his talent didn't transfer to road racing...
