... but honestly, who is even close to being fit enough to challenge

It he doesnt go 22-0 egainst this field , he needs to be embarrassed

Kawasaki need to clean house, and put some hungry 250 guys in, too many rolling round for a paycheck

You're post is alright except for he needs to be embarrassed if he doesn't go 22-0. That's ridiculous.

The field is thin yes, but this is still wildly impressive. Jett is so incredibly dialed in right now. If Tomac, Webb, Sexton and Roczen had all been there racing him at 100% Jett wouldn't be undefeated. Such a stud though. Jett is the next McGrath.

It’s crazy to think, but he could tie RV in 450MX wins his rookie year.

You know what would make it an awesome season.... close battles.    A full roster of uninjured top talent.

Last year was awesome, we had Dunge, Cairoli, incredible battles. This season is flat out BORING.

Nice try, but I don't give a shit what brand anyone is riding.

He's the first Jett Lawrence. He's something new

Remember last year when Sexton looked perfect on the bike and was the bench mark for perfect style? And now Jett makes Chase look like a slugger on the bike..

the good news is, we’re all going to find out just how legit this is when we get to January.

hey it’s exciting. if he continues to dominate indoors, we’re seriously looking at a new chapter in the sport. bring in the next batch of  athletes in 25/26! if someone takes it to him, equally entertaining.

this is a winning moment for the fans. don’t know how else you can see it.

remember what it was like when MC passed Stanton in 93? well, most on here probably don’t, but those of us who do, well we’ve been down this road and it was a good one.

Honestly it is a bit ridiculous to think the competition is not fast. The field is not that deep ; yup, lots of injuries. But no fast, what are the reasons to think that ? Maybe because Jett is trailriding like Everts or Pourcel ? He rode maybe more hours than half of vital by age 12. Then grew up with a very fast big brother, the Everts camp and Roczen's dad. Talent + hours = what we see now. The way he passed Ferrandis was just amazing in term of technique, against a former champ. I didn't see that much technique since Pourcel, and he can train (unlike CP after his broken back), so I think you are underestimating him or the field a lot.

It is a dreadful field but you'd think  Chase or Dylan would be able to steal one . At this point though the only way I see him losing a moto is by mechanical failure or huge getoff .

I will tell you what says the field isnt fast

Jose Butron

Finishing 6th

In the sand

Coming through the pack.

I feel for Jett because he will know deep down that its a blowout, Only Sexton had the speed, and a big concussion isnt something you can just  'ride off'.

You can only race who turns up, but he is the only fit factory guy in 450.

Its a good job 250 is worth watching , i echo Weege saying that Jett would not be dominating 250 like this.

I don't think it's even just fitness.

Especially when we all saw what he did within the first few turns of each moto.

He bitch slapped his way into the lead, and easily check out.

Before Chase or Dylan could even settle into a rhythm.

His relaxed riding style combined with fitness is putting him out into alien category.

I know the racing isn't the most exciting cause he makes it look so damn easy.

But Im with RC, just enjoy watching history in the making and insanely good talent.

His starts too are ridiculously consistent.

Agreed . And if he wanted to I think he could be winning these motos by at least a minute but he's shown an amazing amount of maturity also in just doing what's necessary.

Realistically this is Sextons worse track, he has stated as much. If we leave Unidilla and Sexton hasn’t won a moto then we start talking 22-0.

I think we should be "talking" 22-0. But not confirming it.

If jett leaves unidilla unbeaten. He will be 18-0. That's a long time till you start talking about it

When we say this season is boring, one illustration would be Stewart, RC or Reed not being able to participate in the 2006 SX season--especially RC.

That season was classic because the challenger and the champion were both in it.

Kind of after the first couple laps. I know there is some racing going on in the middle and back of the pack, I'd like to see a little more going on up front.

I agree, 2023 matches 2002,2004 and 2008 for the most BORING! seasons of all time, it's what happens when the greats come in and destroy their competition.  Even if Tomac was racing MX this year he would lose to Jett also,  Chase could keep Eli in sight, battle and beat him at certain races last year, but with Jett all Sexton can do is watch him disappear.

Pala Moto 2 Sexton was on Jett the whole race, 1-2 seconds off until the end.  That was with mono and a practice crash.  There's no way Sexton is back to 100% race shape.  That said, I can't say for sure he would beat Jett unless Jett makes a mistake.  I'm just saying that its obvious Chase isn't 100% and if he was, it would at least be more interesting.  He's going to steadily get back into shape so hopefully we see it get more competitive in the next few rounds.

Maybe Tomac but Jett has waxed Chase this season . Tomac is the only guy missing that might have anything for the kid . He is a generational rider.

I mean if it wasn't for Kenny on his 2018 rmz, Jett would have led every lap of every race so far, and almost every turn!

I agree this season is boring which I also think only compliments Jett's Talent. Atleast the years JS and RC went 24-0 the racing was still good. Atleast the 250 class is getting interesting now.

While the class is a bit thinned, he's going against Chase who was battling tooth and nail with Eli Tomac last season.

I'm convinced at this point that Jett is just that good, and we are lucky enough to witness it. There has been no crack in his armor, and I think Chase is scratching his head wondering where he'll come up with a second or two a lap to match Jett, much less beat him.  Good for Australia, and it's awesome the Lawerence brothers have come to the States.

I think it gets less and less boring the more wins Jett pulls off.  He might just pull off a perfect season in his rookie season which would be anything but boring to witness.
