Stewart and Langston are my favorites
I knew he was good, but not having James in the booth yesterday made me realize just how good he truly is.
I think they should bring Jerry Seinfeld in to do a race or two .

I still wish we had KDub
If people didn’t hear RC’s stumbles they weren’t listening. Stew is far better. End of story
James is better. He doesn’t fumble his words as much
What insight and angle did you hear you liked? I truly listened to compare with James and it was the same two things as every other race. Inside/outside and I'd rather be following than the leader. He also said g outs caused Roczens and Jett's crashes which was wrong.
He literally offers nothing where James was analyzing bikes in practice, predicting outcomes, and actually sharing what he saw accurately. RC was amazing on a bike, but he is terrible at announcing.
Listening to RC reminds me of learning to drive a stick shift car. He is awful. He should be a ton better by now and he isn't.
JS all day. RC sucks at his job.
You need to listen in better then. Weege, Stew they all say inside/outside. They always say it whenever someone is trying to pass “taking any line the leader is not”.
RC analyzed bikes (balance of bikes front to back, and how it causes different feel in the front end), predicting outcomes (he predicted AP was going to tip over when he was trying to pass AC). Which he properly shared what he saw.
Everyone could knock JS as well; smacks his lips constantly when he starts to speak, can’t even say AC9’s last name correctly.
Stop swinging so hard on Stew’s nuts. Stew and RC are both good, but they are great together IMO, wish we had that.
Hmm, I’m not sure who I like. But maybe if we have another thread next week, and the next, and the next, I can come to some conclusion. Yes, let’s discuss this every week like it’s a new topic.
I got a little tired of RC describing the Gouts and the knobbies catching the ruts throughout the motos. He sounded as if this was a rehearsed description for this race.
Having RC back was much like going to the dentist and having all my teeth taken out with a bat. He drops cliché after cliché, fumbles more words than he gets correct, forgets what Weege actually asked him once he starts rambling, and the whole repeating repeating the track conditions non stop was pathetic. Fro overcame a speech impediment to enter the broadcast booth and is and was light years better.
Villopoto is WAY! better than both of them in the booth and RC and James Stewart are about even as far as I'm concerned.
JS7 for the win. He is just better at analysis, speaking AND he is entertaining. RC is ok. I get a kick out of his odd and ill timed short bursts of laughter when Weege is interacting with a thought or question posed to him. Listen closely next time. You’ll hear it.
I like stew as he doesn’t seem to have the same ties to industry therefore isn’t afraid to make folks mad by giving his real opinion. I thought Langston was the same way. Emig and Rc seem to watch what they say to much. I doubt either one would give their honest opinion about a bike failure if they’re getting paid to be the brand ambassador for said brand.
Pit Row
Since the David Bailey days in the booth , I actually thought Broc Glover was one of the best I've ever heard. Daniel Blair should be another consideration as a field reporter. He is way to good to NOT be on the show.
I agree with this as well.
I think Blair is done broadcasting. He was very good though.
It seems RC does better when he and James are commentating together. It seems like he tries to hard when it’s just him. I think they should have Weege, James, and RC every weekend.
I’ve never heard Villopoto call a race, but the Title24 podcast is not very good, but I did think RV did a better job than RC until their last podcast where RV had to do it alone. He had Davey on there, and man, it was a hard listen!
RC must have a bonus structure that revolves around how many times he mentions the "SuperMotocross World Championship playoffs".
Was it me or did it looked like RC needed to prove himself a lot more… Went a lot more into details about bike setup, riding stules, etc…
Looks like Stew raised the bar.
I liked Rc yesterday. Js does have the better analysis but I’m not a big fan of his delivery, voice is too mellow and flat and he opts to predict the race rather than calling the action as it happens, also his sense of humour is unique… both are legends and I don’t mind listening to either. Ironic to see them battling for position in the booth after all those on track battles. Bring ‘em both in at the same time I say.
I really like RC in the booth, but I like JS a little better. Similar and amazing insights into what’s happening, JS is simply more entertaining.
Ricky all day
I’m still upset that Daniel Blair is gone, but as it stands now, have Weege, Stew, and RC in the booth every week. I would also add in DB if he was still here. The Daytona broadcast team this year was PERFECT.
i don’t get all the negativity around here. I like RC in the booth, sure he stumbles sometimes but that doesn’t take anything away for me imo. I would love to have all 3 in the booth every single week, including for Supercross.
With that being said, do we seriously need a thread about this every single week?
they could have Obama in the booth and I’m still gonna tune in. I’m there to watch the racing, not nitpick about who’s commentating on what my eyes already see lol
