No clue up too you. What are you thinking?
Well maybe you should do some research on the history this sport with your 2023 join date. No one gets to the level of these guys without some injuries or concussions....no one. This isn't golf or tennis. People know damn well what could happen before they sign up for it. We just have a new generation of p*****s that are running rampant crying about everything under the sun. Good lord.
At this rate I wouldn’t be surprised if Jett had a season similar to Dungey’s titles or Roczen in 2016.

Ok. 🤦🏼 There’s a lot more data on long term effects of concussions in 2023 that wasn’t available years ago. Just like you’re making assumptions about Sexton’s situation that you know nothing about, you assume I just started following the sport recently based on my signup date.
Good for Chase to take the rest he needs. He has got a lot of racing left in his career, hopefully anyway.
I'm not saying it would solve everything but I would like to see slower bikes and slower tracks. The racing in the 80's & 90's was also great..
I would love to see the 125 class back, and the 450 changed to 250cc four strokes and two strokes and hopefully have a full(er) and more competitive field the whole season.
As for Jett, winning both motos at Hangtown will give him a serieus points advantage but there is still a lot of racing left
Waking up to the these news.. What the fuck is happening in the premier class this year? Hope he's alright but man that's tough as a fan
Honda was almost guaranteed to have 2 red bikes up front and on the podium every round. How would Honda paying Chase to not race "work for both of them" ?
Do you think they want him going to KTM next year with both the 450 Supercross and National titles? And whatever this whole new Supermotocross bs is? He was the only competitive Honda in 450 Supercross, so that was fine. Now that Jett is on a 450 in the outdoors and is now their main priority for this season and many years beyond, getting rid of the one guy who can hang with him is not a long shot. This is still a business.
Then they picked the wrong sport. You don't get to their level without realizing the negative outcome of a bad decision. Again they got to the level they are at for a reason. I hate to use the term "snowflake" but it is very apparent in this thread.
You on a fishing expedition
Not following how one Honda on the box each week is better business than 2 Hondas on the box each week. Plus 2 Hondas battling up front week after week ? And this decision was made after the first round ? The titles will still say Honda in the history books. Kind of a far fetched bet but I’ve got $100’ that says if Chase were to somehow come back and win the title, then go to KTM in 24’, he’d run his #23 anyway.
You should go listen to some Pastrana interviews. He knows a lot about concussions. He even says he was lucky in that when he had a bad concussion he almost always had broken bones and couldn't ride so he missed getting the back to back concussions that cause long term brain damage. He specifically points out in one interview that a concussion damages a specific area of the brain, but it will heal on its own given time. However if you reinjure that spot before it heals, then it never heals.
Mono=EBV. He needs to get that under control before SMX (where the real money is) and it takes a lot of rest to do it.
I found this fitting after scrolling to the bottom of the page.
I think you mean a James Stewart 08. This is starting to remind me of that.
Ive had 3 or 5 concussions myself. I used to be a bears qb. Now I watch motorcycles in the dirt.
That would be a dumb $100 bet as the rules dictate Chase has to run #1 in 2024 MX if he were to "somehow come back and win the title". He wouldn't get a choice to run #23 on a KTM for MX.
Pit Row
The man who said Jett could go 24:0 got laughed at.
doesnt look so funny now does it?
I guarantee he won’t go 24-0.
2023: Literally the worst year of motocross in the history of the sport.
"You don't get to their level without realizing the negative outcome of a bad decision". You think maybe that's why he's trying to avoid making a bad decision? Holy fuck.
Na we're laughing at you....24-0....impossible...
That Walty dudes a kook.
Lol
Oh..............
I did not know that (obviously) When did that change ? I know when RC won he still ran #4 (At the time I remember being bummed about it because what's the point of a #1 plate if you don't run the dumb thing) I thought it was the riders choice to run the 1 or their "permanent" number. Out of the loop again, dang it.
I'm a big Jett fan but it's Motocross and ANYTHING can happen. The series is nowhere close to being over!
Just saw this last night , just gutted.
Who knows though. I see the glass half full on this. Chase misses 1 round , he might come back and go on a terror. Also , with seeing so many riders already out of the series, I'm hoping Cooper , AP , Dylan and AC step up their game here.
I don't want to see a runaway this year damn it.
I remember 2015 when Eli came out and decimated the field at the opening round and all the "experts" were saying we were headed to an undefeated season and that nobody was going to be able to beat him.....
