His contract with HRC Honda is SX only, so yes.

That said he's racing WSX. It just hasn't been announced yet.

Fastest laps, not fastest rider. There's a difference. He didnt beat Sexton or Lawrence when it counted.

Vlaanderen is 6th in points and with Renaux out will be 5th, only 30 points out of 3rd. I'd stay in GP's if i was him, this could be a career year for him.

J. Cooper is focused on the 250mx title so he won’t move up. Ferrandis is a beast outdoors and I would not write him off one bit. If they were to do a replacement rider I could see someone on the privateer side to place on the bike. After all, with so many riders out with injury the little guys are going to get some great results. 
 

Or perhaps this is me hoping someone gets the chance.

Obviously the chance for a lot better paycheck. Now if they can find some races in August.

How soon do you guys think they need an answer if Eli is coming back for 2024 or not?

The sooner they know the better, from the teams standpoint, and it's that time of year where teams are in talks with riders.

I would try to negotiate with Yamaha Australië to loan Luke Cloud. The kid was decent in the USA the last time but both times his teams closed shop.
