I usually watch with the sound off. Seemed the only spent 1/4-1/3 of the time telling me about the race. The rest of the time they were too busy talking about overcoming adversity or other useless trivia.

DB and Weege. Stew is good in small doses. Ricky has vastly improved but isn't as natural. DB has been good since his days on the floor of the AX broadcast. Weege can announce anything.

That's different as he gets to speak the way he wants without someone in his ear.
It's more natural for him.
I think a lot of people need to separate RC, the GOAT, from RC, the announcer.
RC, the announcer, really adds nothing of value to the broadcast.

I think you have to have a professional announcer and then a rider.. Not sure RC or JS could carry the whole program also not sure the new generation would relate to DB most of them never saw him ride and may not even know who he is?

Stew & Weege. Nothing wrong against RC but when you are bad at your job you are bad whatever your past. The problem is that he is getting worse year after year in my opinion. It becomes inaudible at times. I like Daniel but not that much in the booth. For RDL he is great imo. It's hard to find the right balance between non-technical commentary for the average fan and satisfying the hardcore fan who wants to hear details that only a hardcore fan can understand. Weege has the good balance between both and Stew is just perfect for hardcore fans and he is funny wich is good for random fans as well.
