I like the shootouts. Especially when there is feedback from different rider levels. I do hate how the press bashes on Suzuki. The RMZ is a great deal and 99% of non pros can't ride it to it's limits. I miss Dirt Bike from about '74 or '75 - when they were not swayed by advertising angles.

I appreciate shootouts still. I have my brand I generally stick with (dealer support and access to servicing and parts plus their support of MX locally). Still, I always find out something interesting from a shootout - some little setup trick I didn't know about, or an opinion where I will hunt out another brand for a quick spin to get my own impression. I suggest keeping things stock apart from sag/clickers and fork height. If you get carried away with changes, you dilute relevance. Hoping Jason is able to find some peace in the personal part of his life, and keep the love of racing. If he and HEP join forces this could be a very good fit. Kenny is light hearted and Jason is a genuine good dude. This will turn out well and the vibe in that truck will be really good.

6/6/2025 3:11pm Tom Rapp. He was there for the early days when Americans were getting fast. He could tell us about Jim Pomeroy (who by all accounts was the best - an early version of AP 7) He knew Lackey, Zahrt and all the fast guys of the era.

Roger D is a good call. So many experiences with teams that were the best in the sport. I'd like to hear Jody Weisel talk about bikes over the decades. He has to be up there for people who have ridden the most production bikes.

Roger Decoster. No one has been to more places in the sport and industry than him. I'd bet he has a ton of great stories from his 60 years in the sport.

Great to see Beta moving forward. Great results from Oldenburg and Bloss (sometimes inconsistent) can be right there. If they had a rider of Stewart or Plessinger's caliber they'd be hauling home podiums.

Would love to see what Eli could do on the Beta, which seems to be very competitive. But apparently they resigned their '25 riders. Ducati would be the choice - but Triumph would be epic as well.
