I'm hoping we get a legit battle between the Lawrence brothers on 250s one last time, as both titles are wrapped up.

What a horrible way to win a championship....top two guys going out in fluke injuries....the guy 18 points down inherits.

"In it to win it".....whatever floats your boat to make it easier to swallow.

Bring on the hate.

He is an amazing talent.       BUT....he was on the ground all year round and jumped on a red cross flag.   He was 18 points down for a reason.   This was not his year.

The 2 title contenders (Webb/Eli) going out like they did will forever be a black cloud (*) over this season championship.

Why in the world would you imply people who say “in it to win it” have a hard time swallowing what happened?…that seems to be contrary to common sense, AND you projecting.
The way I see it, Chase overcame a bunch of mistakes and a senseless penalty, and still won the championship; he had 13 of 16 fastest practice times (I don’t know what the actual number is. I just pulled that out of my ass, but you get the gist of my point), so it’s not unrealistic to argue that he was the fastest man.  In my book, this will go down as a heroic championship against a stacked field, won with speed and attrition…and he didn’t need the final race to do it!!

Honda has over 200k employees. What they're about to pay out is chump change.

I think chase takes it. He’s still got something to prove. The field is depleted and he can’t possible lose, so there’s no point in playing it safe. Win the race and hold up the big ass trophy. That’s gotta be his plan.

Oh he's going to win it.    Nobody left has the speed.    ...and nobody else has anything to gain other than being carted off in an ambulance and blowing the outdoors  opener.

if the 9 wins you will never hear the end of it from me. Looked up to Adam since he was on 65s and never had a doubt in him.

Stupid. So if the top 15 dudes crash out and A ray wins, he’s the man? He’s the best?

Ain't that the truth, there's been an * asterisk since 1983 when Hannah broke his leg.

Sexton is incredibly lucky. He had more dumb mistakes and crashes than Tomac and Webb combined and is still standing.

Shit, maybe I will at this point…. 😂

I'm always pulling for the riders that bust their asses week in & week out to make it to the next round so I'm looking at this situation for all of the privateers to possibly make some bank for a change in this situation.

Lucky? Or has his training paid off to be able to crash and handle it?

I hope it's AC or AP...  But I have a feeling that CS will cruise to an easy one.

So Chase hits the deck and loses points and "this was not his year", but others hit the deck and lose points and now there is a black cloud over the championship? Solid logic.

Well, I mean. Tomac didn't even do anything wrong to cause him to go out.  Just complete shit luck.

It's not that Chase fell down, but it's that he got back up and managed the best finish he could.

He put himself in the best position he could with every crash or red-cross flag penalty.

Which resulted ultimately getting him to be in a position to capitalize on the most unlikely of occurences with Eli and Cooper getting knocked out in the last few races.

Perseverance counts. No asterisk here.

^^ As cool as that would be, unless they have been doing SX testing on a 450, its a terrible idea.

250f are allowed in the 450 class, Personally I don't think they Should be but Why not throw Jett and Hunter in the 450f class on their 250's?

They could likely still challenge for a podium spot in this current 450f field.

Webb washes his front end and gets run over; freak racing accident.
Tomac OJs an easy rhythm and pops his achilles; freak racing accident

Chase has the title in the bag, if I'm him, I roll the entire 20 minute main and save myself for outdoors.

For sure viewership will be way down on this final! Probably the only thing that could make it memorable is if AC wins or someone totally unexpected. I am rooting for that actually. Justin Hill?

Odds are it's Sexton or Kenny. Probably will be Kenny's last good chance to win another one...he knows that.

Then u can also look at it like this Chase pretty much gave Tomac the championship lead by crashing out at almost every round if he hadnt hed be way ahead in points so whats with that .if he didnt crash he would of won almost all the races .seems to me he gave Tomac the points lead

He lost those 7 points for creating a potentially dangerous situation by cheating.

It was his second offense after losing a point for jumping on the WOG light at Thunder Valley.

He was not celebrating because the Championship was won by a Eli's one in a million weird default, not on merit.

Do both the Lawrence's get to wear their #1 plates this weekend?

That would be a great opportunity for Honda.

Why not all 3 hondas where the number 1 plate. Chase CANNOT lose this title...He doesn't even need to line up. He should just wear a crown and a flava flav chain and drink champagne beside the whoops all night long...

You can thank James Stewart and Chad Reed for that 'in it to win it' garbage...James threw off the matrix, he was SO much faster than everyone and Reed would still grab wins...it messed with the balance of the universe lol

Chase wants to beat the best. But at the same time, the piggy bank sure as shit don’t mind if they go out injured.

Sexton will win it. Nothing would shake off an asterisk better than to dominate in these last races.
