Lots of awesome set ups guys! Here’s my favorite spot in the house. Mines a simple set up with a 3 stall garage

My working area with storage for parts and fluids/oil
A spot to chill and my buddy Mojos bed
Third stall side is for bikes and gear
I also use this side for a little workout area

Building a garage with concrete floor and want to epoxy next year once the concrete is fully cured.

Did you use the Rustoleum product line? If so, how has it held up after years of abuse? Did you use the initial product or did you use the newer "Rocksolid" product?

Thanks!

Here’s my new bench with parts washer, air, and power. Free standing so I can take it when I move. Only other thing I might get is a small arbor press on the right side and a wheel lacing stand to switch out with the engine stand. I have a vise on another bench.
I never leave anything plugged in when I’m out so I have an outlet under the bench on its own circuit and when I’m done I kill power to it all of it at the panel box.

Looks great! Have you thought of a stainless steel top to avoid the parts cleaner fluid getting on the wood and saturating it? That wound up happening to my old bench from coolant and oil over time.

Not my garage, but just did a ton of research for my newly poured slab ( had to tear out and replace the original).

From what I've read, the rustoleum & similar kits are water based, because of this the actual coating is fairly thin and doesn't last long. Personally, I went with a commercial grade product from Sherwin Williams but there are similar found online. I know the cost is more but the durability is much better.

Thanks, SS too expensive for me. That rubber floor padding from harbor freight is cheap I’ll cover the whole bench in it.

i have a friend that does expoxy installs. spend the extra money on the pro grade kits. the big cost on a diy epoxy is your time, not a huge difference between consumer/pro materials.

also, like any coating, surface prep is 90% of end results/longivity.

That’s my garage and I did use the rock solid line.It does have a few chips on the double stall side . To be honest all the chips are from sharp or heavy objects dropped. Once a bike fell off the stand and the foot peg broke a small piece up. I have noticed once it chipped it hasn’t broken away more or gotten bigger. I will warn that even with the sand mixed in for traction, the floor is super slick if the slightest bit wet or if ya walk in just your socks.I’m sure there are better industrial strength applications but overall I’m pretty happy with it .

Here is my humble little setup. While it isn't entirely complete I am pretty happy with where it is now after being in the house for a few months. Being a first time home owner I really enjoyed having the freedom to be able to set up my own little shop to fiddle with my and my GF's bikes and store some memorabilia.

I spy a norco sight! Picked the same one up last June. Such a good bike.

Did some cleaning of my work corner this weekend. Included a pic of my wife’s studio upstairs and pic of pitbike track in back yard

In my experience it’s worth it to buy the lumber and build your own bench if you’re doing anything semi heavy duty. Most store bought benches I’ve seen look like they would fold in half with a case of water sat on top of them.

My dream cabinet/workbench and wall cabinet set up:  www.dragonfiretools.com

Heavy duty to the point of being overkill but the nicest I have seen to date.  Saw this guy at Mt Morris a few years ago and have wanted this stuff since.  Get your pocketbook out but it’s the last cabinet/bench you’ll ever have to buy.

My space is about 4m x 7m, or 13' x 22'. I would say I'm jealous of the space some of you have, although if I had that much space I'd fill it with more machines and have no extra work space.

Definitely build your own. I cover my wood benches with aluminum trim coil, cost around 100 bucks for a 24"x50' roll. I make my bench around 21" wide, gives me enough material to go up the wall and down the front. You need a metal brake to make the bends, any vinyl siding guy could do it for you in about 30 seconds.

I just moved to Perry, GA a year ago, but this is what I have so far. One side dirt bikes the other hot rod. Always a work in progress.

My shop/garage looks like a bomb went off most times.  Sometimes a beer bomb with cans and bottles!!!.  But it does have a mini split AC, it’s hot in Houston area.

Here's the bike working corner of our 3,200' shop (about 20% of the total space). Not pictured is the full bathroom, gear area, bike storage, gym, tractor, UTV, car working area, home project area, and 20x40 entertainment loft which includes all our moto memorabilia.

Basically this is the reason we moved out to the middle of nowhere.... well that and all the awesome riding all around... I should try to get better pics of all the moto stuff...

Here's a video of our shop, with my wife the host and a small cameo by myself & the dog. The TC250 is looking a little lackluster after a Pismo dunes trip and I had yet to put the A-kit suspension and factory wheels back on it. 😝

3 car attached garage. Wish it was bigger. When moved in, cut in attic access, added more lighting and ran gas line for heater(in MN) then insulated. Cut in floor drain, added sink, hired a company to epoxy the floors, garage cabinets on each side of the toolbox

32X60. 14’ ceilings. Work bench, bar, tv and soon to have 12k lift. Has heated floors and AC. Still a lot to do but it’s nice to have a place to work on your shit and have a couple beers. Or both hahaha. Cheers boys 🍻

That’s a great looking barn. Only time I miss living in the NW is when I think about my shop. It’s hard to have a space like that at the beach.
