Did you use the Rustoleum product line? If so, how has it held up after years of abuse? Did you use the initial product or did you use the newer "Rocksolid" product?
Thanks!
I never leave anything plugged in when I’m out so I have an outlet under the bench on its own circuit and when I’m done I kill power to it all of it at the panel box.
From what I've read, the rustoleum & similar kits are water based, because of this the actual coating is fairly thin and doesn't last long. Personally, I went with a commercial grade product from Sherwin Williams but there are similar found online. I know the cost is more but the durability is much better.

also, like any coating, surface prep is 90% of end results/longivity.
In my experience it’s worth it to buy the lumber and build your own bench if you’re doing anything semi heavy duty. Most store bought benches I’ve seen look like they would fold in half with a case of water sat on top of them.
My dream cabinet/workbench and wall cabinet set up: www.dragonfiretools.com
Heavy duty to the point of being overkill but the nicest I have seen to date. Saw this guy at Mt Morris a few years ago and have wanted this stuff since. Get your pocketbook out but it’s the last cabinet/bench you’ll ever have to buy.
My space is about 4m x 7m, or 13' x 22'. I would say I'm jealous of the space some of you have, although if I had that much space I'd fill it with more machines and have no extra work space.
Definitely build your own. I cover my wood benches with aluminum trim coil, cost around 100 bucks for a 24"x50' roll. I make my bench around 21" wide, gives me enough material to go up the wall and down the front. You need a metal brake to make the bends, any vinyl siding guy could do it for you in about 30 seconds.

I just moved to Perry, GA a year ago, but this is what I have so far. One side dirt bikes the other hot rod. Always a work in progress.
My shop/garage looks like a bomb went off most times. Sometimes a beer bomb with cans and bottles!!!. But it does have a mini split AC, it’s hot in Houston area.
Starting the pre approval process in October for a house, for xmas I just want my own garage!
Ill be back when that happens but keep these setups comin!
Here's a video of our shop, with my wife the host and a small cameo by myself & the dog. The TC250 is looking a little lackluster after a Pismo dunes trip and I had yet to put the A-kit suspension and factory wheels back on it. 😝

24’ x 36’ I was in the process of building mine, when everyone was posting pictures of theirs. Finally getting around to posting mine. One side is for fun, the other is for work. 14’ of counter top/work bench.
Should have done a spoke with my wallet a few months ago.
Bro said I’ll take one of each! Jealous of all those toys!!
3 car attached garage. Wish it was bigger. When moved in, cut in attic access, added more lighting and ran gas line for heater(in MN) then insulated. Cut in floor drain, added sink, hired a company to epoxy the floors, garage cabinets on each side of the toolbox
32X60. 14’ ceilings. Work bench, bar, tv and soon to have 12k lift. Has heated floors and AC. Still a lot to do but it’s nice to have a place to work on your shit and have a couple beers. Or both hahaha. Cheers boys 🍻
That’s a great looking barn. Only time I miss living in the NW is when I think about my shop. It’s hard to have a space like that at the beach.
Yup, that's what I'm talking about! ^^^
