reminds of the phrase 'big hat, no cattle'.

Put your fetish aside people,

Good on them Hill boys, they are ripping right now and hopefully shutting up the naysayers!

Many on here had them written off years ago.  Natural talent!

Somewhere in the timeline fits the following:

Bedazzled trend, Ed Hardy/Von Dutch, Tapout/Affliction look.

Damn, add this thread to the growing list of derailments.

The Hill bros story sound crazy, I want to hear more details on it as it sounds insane. Almost to the point that I don’t believe it. Nobody thought to take a photo of the vehicle that had all the windows busted out at a random stoplight in an attempted robbery? Something seems a little fishy…

Yeah, he's from Hamilton OH, but he's married to a GA girl so maybe that's where the redneck comes from?

I grew up in the country in north Georgia, but I have cousins that are actual farmers from northern Ohio. Those dudes are more country than most of the guys I grew up with.

The call people from Hamilton hamiltuckians because it’s pretty “rednecky.” And close to Kentucky.  I’ve even heard ap say something once and say it’s the hamiltuckian in him. But I also think he moved south pretty young and grew up in Georgia.

I’m a home builder in southern CA. I wear wrangler button ups and Georgia boots, and I have for years.…the amount of clients I build for that ask if I bought my clothes because of Yellowstone is astounding.

We have 700 mother cows and bulls on the farm I work on, and I stay as far away from them as I can. That's a good way to get hurt.IMG 20230407 191451147

Take a cold shower seabass, I've never owned square-toed boots. Not that there's anything wrong with that . . .

Dude fake cowboy shit is everywhere right now. I haven’t been to New York in like two years, but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if there were idiots walking around in cowboy boots, hats, and turquoise stuff. Lots of bros in Southern California have transitioned to this look, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was in New York as well.

Don’t talk about AP like that!!!!

Agreed, considering he was into hip-hop and dancing when he was on 250's. People change, but man this one was drastic.

Hamilton is essentially a suburb of Cincinnati, just outside the loop of greater Cincy. Don’t see cowboy hats at Kroger here.

Wasn’t AP dancing, doing the worm, before he was calf ropin’?

Boots and outfits aside,

can anyone give some cliff notes as to what happened? I haven’t seen the podcast yet

Supposedly the Hill bros were driving the team's Mini Cooper around East Rutherford and at a random stop light, a group of people came up with crowbars and started smashing the car and attempted to steal it/rob them.

Yellowstone definitely brought the cowboy look back in for sure. I live n Newton Kansas and work in an even smaller farm town. you can tell Who the real cowboys/ranchers/farmers are but I throw people off when they see me feeding chickens and cows and working the farm in my Vans. lol

Uhh I think people had them written for good reason though. Josh had a ton of potential, some great results, then derailed his career with a dumbass backflip attempt. And I don't know what the hell happened with Justin but it's almost the same story, went from 250 champ to barely getting top 10s and disappearing for a few years doing crap songs instead of what he's actually talented at. I'm glad to see both of them out there still, especially Josh, feels like he's been around forever.

Justin Hill was hurt and played guitar in a bar that night, it was several years ago, and people still talk about it. It should be obvious that it might be possible for someone to be too hurt to race a pro Supercross but still be able to play a guitar.

Not what I'm talking about at all, in fact I'm not even sure what you're talking about. Pretty sure he wasn't injured for two years.

Guy can't make up his mind. Lived 1 year of his life in the UK, grew up mostly in Canada without any accent, suddenly gained a scottish accent after moving to the USA and now he's a cowboy. Check mate!
