What do you think of this Special Edition gear released today?

Are we back in the 90's now?

I think its interesting that they released this in the 180 line, not the 360.

Not my cup of tea, a lot of the gear companies are going to the bright gaudy look. I like clean and simple, similar to Shift and Reed for the most part.

IMO most of the FOX gear color designs in the past 3 years have been average at best. They need a fresh approach, something with solid color combos and something between TLD and Thor. Also need a lot more color combos for the vented 360 gear lines, we prefer to wear vented from May to October here in New England, with the option to put a layer underneath for cold mornings and remove for warm afternoons.

Its a new strategy by Fox to keep their gear at the front of the pack by burning the retinas of the other competitors.

Im not saying I love it but its certainly different.

Out of curiosity did any of you have the neon colors back in the day? Was this "color way" disliked then? (I was a baby at the time)

28 - I agree easter basket..but better than some of the stuff out there. I think certain bikes can pull it off (yamaha) and others wouldn't look right (honda) but who knows.

Thats a very good question. I was around during the neon colors and loved them and assumed everyone else did too. But then again, I was a kid/teen and thought everyone liked what I did.

Now you got me thinking, I guess it depended on who you asked (esp. based in age), not unlike this gear color of today.

I don't personally like this LE colorway, but i've always wondered why their top riders, Dungey, Roczen, etc, never rock the 180 line which is for the most part pretty clean and sweet imo. Fox obviously wants them in their high end gear sets, but to see them in the 180 or Airline stuff would be cool and you'd think that would help them all around. Thoughts?

40s female rider here.. I literally just discovered this limited edition colorway and LOVE it. I've looked all over for some leftover stock but no luck.Sad Not a huge fan of the drab (for the most part) 2018 gear colors.
