I agree, but the reality is the business model for a public track is terrible. So many people complain!! Gate fees, entry costs, concessions etc and then complain about prep, practice order, watering, not enough racing, too much racing and so on. A training facility is much less liability with the same group there and waivers much more locked down.....and the riders ask to come and agree to the cost ahead of time and know what they are signing up for along with having the same agenda.

100% agree. If the kid really just wanted to ride a factory bike, if he really didn't want to exploit the secrets in that motor, then a deal could have been made. Anybody who's been in business for a minute could have worked something out with Brennan. Instead, they panicked and went all Corleone on the kid.

Brennan messed up. He had the royal flush in his hand and folded. He should have told Walker and the Luce to fuck off, taken the claimed bike, and warned everyone involved that if anything happened to his sponsors, he would have his engine guy live stream the tear down of that motor piece by piece for everyone to evaluate. If it's a factory works motor in that bike, they would all be fucked.
