Sounds like HRC will keep the 250 program.  See Lars' interview on the latest Pulp MX.

I believe the target is the 2025 season for Phoenix to assume the factory Honda 250 effort. Expect their support to increase significantly for 2024.

Here’s Lars on Pulp MX discussing the 250 program.

If Mr. Tomac does actually retire, wouldn't Cooper Webb be the obvious #1 recruit for anyone? Hate to say Chase is obviously fast but his constant crashing while in good positions makes the Honda he rides look more bad than good (Marquez crashed out this weekend too). Bad press right?

Every time I see Sexton crash seemingly out of nowhere...I can't help but see Roger & Ian...jiFfM

That's what I've been hearing for rumors too. Which makes the "Triumph is basically a KTM" theory more likely. Did Triumph go lazy and buy their frame from KTM and put their own parts on the rest of it? Why else would they ONLY go after Husky/KTM/GasGas riders unless they're already used to the chassis? If so, I'll be incredibly let down. We don't need another damn KTM on the track. I hope I'm wrong. We need something totally new. Just following the bread crumbs.

Because Bobby Hewitt who runs the new Triumph program recruited all those guys to Husky.

Optimism of a Beta factory team gets squished when Johnny Walker takes 2nd in super enduro on an enduro brand and is his own mechanic, and team manager

It won't be just another KTM. RC also mentioned that in an interview.

The bike was designed, engineered, and built in the UK. Has its own identity.

Edit: If it was just another KTM, they could have gone racing 2-3 years ago in the US and MXGP in both classes.

What are odds new bike from roadbike company will work right away in race days and couple young teen age riders know how to fix setups if something isnt clicking? Seems it took one year from KTM group to fix new platform even they had army of riders and engineers around the world testing and racing bikes. Anyone remembering how bad it went when BMW came out with their new Enduro/MX bikes with their new ideas. They should hire older guys who know about setups and testing I dont see guys like Ferry do those things.

Am I the only one who is extremely skeptical of this Triumph thing?

They've supposedly been testing the shit out of this bike and nothing has been leaked at all? Not a picture, not a statement with specs, literally nothing other than "its coming".

I know multiple people that have been on the bike and very recently at that. They've got a very tight grip on their NDA situation and testing locations. We'll be seeing it in just a few months.

Triumph’s skill at keeping their bike a secret is next level. I am shocked they’re going to get to show the bike at a press conference on their terms before even at least one blurry spy shot surfaces.

Beta will have a single digit rider in 2024, if the bike works on a supercross track.

I don't think you understand that Forkner will go faster & fall down harder on a 450. I hope he figures out how to stay off of the ground before he graduates to the big show, because he hasn't figured it out on the 250's yet. Sorry, but if you think he'll "beat those guys without even breaking a sweat"...you are deceived greatly!

some time riders will do better on a 450 as its less high revving and “calmer”. They’re pro riders they can handle the extra hp

We didn't see or hear much about the new YZ65 until Yamaha released it.

It's easy to hide when you swap the green plastics for orange ones that say KTM. I'm joking.....at least I hope so.
