The funny part about his win last night is he will run 6-7 place next week. Great win for Kenny and HEP. But it's not the bike when it comes to Suzuki. Kenny won on 2016 and James won on it in 2015.

63 likes on the pic indicate that this is a hugely unpopular take, but the kickstart thing is lame, IMO. It had nothing to do with his performance, yet he plays it like it’s some huge disadvantage he had to overcome. Hell of an exciting race from unusual suspects, so that was cool.
He knows it's not a disadvantage. He's rubbing it in the faces of morons (of which there are many) who think it is.
Same thing with the bike itself. There's a guy in this very thread that doesn't think a good tuner can pull the hp numbers out of a Zook to put it on the same level of the other brands. It's comical.

So I'm gonna be a hypocrite. Out of all the pros I've ever met Mike has been hands down my favorite, he has gotten a horrible rap because of the people around him and the stupid shit that has occurred by the same people. He was unbelievably cool to my son at Hangtown back in the day. After practice in 95° heat and was heading into his RV he heard my kid yell his name, and I was getting ready to see my son disappointed. Mike turned around and came and BS'd with my kid for 5 to 10 minutes signed his hat and shirt, also gave him a pair of goggles. In under 10 minutes he made 2 lifetime fans. The following week we got my boy a whole new graphic kit with the #800 for his KTM 65 because of that interaction. Mike crying over a heat race win was odd, but he never won a heat before that I know of, let alone a main. Ken has won 22 450 mains so he knows the feeling and has been there. Either way grown men crying is weird to me, because that didn't fly with my Dad and the way I was raised. But ya Mike is a great dude.

Obviously Im not a Kenny fan, but in his defense. It is definitely a disadvantage if he drops or stalls the bike in a race.
