Did anyone look at that video of C Web winning the last triple crown race and Decoster coming up to congratulate him after he won the overall? Rodger was all smiles. Cooper wanted nothing to do with him and hugged his mechanic… clearly blowing off Rodger.
Someone can find the clip... but it was really clear ..... Coop was not interested in RD's pat on the back. There is a reason for that...
Personally I expect to see Coop on a different colored bike next year.

I assume Cooper has to go someplace. KTM signed him for one year and Chase is coming next year. I doubt they can afford both Sexton and a chip on his shoulder Webb.

I noticed it as well.
DeCoster made him go back to the Baker's Factory were he has to work, only offered a 1-year deal for 2023, probably wasn't pleased about Webb bad mouthing the bike/team, etc.
Webb obviously wasn't pleased although I think it's kind of proven DeCoster was correct.

Y’all saying this is sarcasm and not true? Why. People are still asking “is this real” on his Twitter post, so let’s not assume it’s a joke. He may be going to Kawasaki.
It could indeed be sarcasm...although Weege usually doesn't roll that way...and I hadn't heard that from anybody else, not even a "maybe" rumor. That's the reason I posted the Twitter quote. AC has a year left on his contract, but how about Anderson? Is the last year of his contract? Would Kawasaki run a 3-man 450 team? Is Anderson out for 2024? Would Kawie buy out AC's contract and let him go? I can't see Webb & Ando on the same team...given their collective egos. So, somebody might be on the way out.

When I think Kawasaki, I'm thinking outside lines. When I watch Webb, I'm seeing inside lines. A match made on paper, set on fire by stubbornness on both sides.... I hope he wins everything this year and makes KTM corporate pay through the nose next year.

Just the timing of the contracts. That doesn't mean Kawi won't re-sign Anderson.
Many people think Anderson will reunite with Bobby Hewitt at Triumph in 2025 when they introduce their 450 team. It would make sense since he was tight with them, and he'll be in his 30s by then. Could set himself well for a post-racing future with the team.
I'm guessing he'll sign a 1-year extension, and then come 2025, both Kawi riders will be out of a contract.
