There are hundreds of great scenes in all of those classic MX videos, but to me, one of the best is when MC jumps out of that valley at Coop's place & wheelies off after landing it. It's such a perfect shot...

That was beautiful! Even better I think it was a 1997 CR250 with the first ever aluminum frame.
I always loved Pastrana's part in the end of Mini Warriors 2
I flagged the Tampa race and during a slight lull in the action I was standing right next to J-Bone and it took all my power to resist making a lame ass joke about having a fat bowl of Emig-O's that morning. He's probably heard stupid jokes about that a million times, so I let it go. On the other hand, it's been so long ago that he may have got a kick out of it.
All of those 90s and early 2000s videos are awesome in their own right. But if I had to watch 1 scene it would be hands down the Castillo Ranch scene from Terrafirma 2 with MC. Great segment and Face to Face playing just makes it amazing. https://youtu.be/h9YRc1WeifI
"Cuts down on the arm pump bro"
End thread.
One chance to win, is my favorite moto flick
It randomly started playing when I was on YouTube today, and I ended up watching the entire thing.
I didn't search for it, but it was pretty fun to watch.
1975 500 Motocross National Championship.
Pit Row
Wow, you know about Spetters in the US?
I absolutely watched Crusty 3 to death. One of the only VHS (next to Moto XXX, Pulp Fiction and Fear and Loathing Las Vegas) I still own. My parents were sky divers too, so that opening scene was perfect with breakfast.
STEEL ROOTS INTRO!
McGrath riding out of the cave and along the beach.
O yeah, since it first came out. Have to agree with APLMAN99, though, about that scene!
Jimmy and his crew from Spokane Valley were epic back in the day. IDAHO border possie lived large ......BRO 🤣
So many great scenes / races come to mind.
But, to keep it simple, and US MX oriented :
The Final (?) scene of one of the last Great Outdoors, that had followed JD a fair bit (his last full season?).
It was him destroying a berm, with the narrator saying : "JOHN DOWD IS MOTOCROSS! "
Wasn't he, I wanna say 46?, when he podiumed Southwick on a KTM 450?
On any Sunday.
Malcom Smith schooling the hillclimb crowd on his Husky.
Then turning around and riding back down.
Crazy to look at how good Mt. View was back in the day.
He got 3rd overall at Southwick in 2009, according to RacerXs The Vault. Listed as being on a KX450.
So, he was 44. JYD was born 10th August, 1965, the Southwick National was on the 29th of August, in 09.
Perhaps he got up on the podium for an individual moto, after that year? - but, I don't know if that's the case.
But a 3rd overall at Southwick, even if it's regarded as his 'home' National, at the age of 44 is pretty bloody impressive.
