A lot of America’s problem is that it’s been the most prosperous country since World War 2, really since the turn of the 20th century with the Industrial Revolution (which occurred shortly after Abraham Lincoln proclaimed 2 days of prayer and fasting for the nation which was torn asunder from the Civil War). Fast forward 80 years and America, which was a wealthy and peaceful country has ended up having odd hangups and strange internal divisions.
The monetization of division promulgated via major networks and social media. In other words, turning fear and hate into revenue streams.
It’s an extremely long and complicated topic. Believe it or not, I’ve actually researched this topic quite a bit.
To fully grasp it, we would have to go back to Reconstruction. But I’m going to simplify this as much as possible and jump way ahead to the more recent times.
In the 60s, counter culture (aka hippies) were met with an opposition of a more conservative law and order candidate in Richard Nixon. However, Nixon was still progressive and did many things that counter culture agreed with. Nobody since has eclipsed his popular vote margin of victory in 1972.
It was Reagan, however, that took this to a whole new level. Resonating with the people in campaigns saying that you should have full control of your own lives, not the elite in DC. Pushing back against the progressive legislation that was seen by many as government overreach. But it’s not that simple. He was able to unite the following groups of people into one massive coalition:
Small government
Law and order
Military expansion for security
Tough on USSR
Evangelicals
Pro Life
Other political philosophies also gravitated to him due to rampant inflation, and the economy is a deciding factor in elections.
This was the Reagan Revolution. Democrats prior to him were often more progressive. After Reagan shifted the political paradigm to the right significantly, Democrats had to adjust themselves. Democrats after him (New Democrats) shifted themselves to the center so they could still be seen as politically acceptable. It worked, as they have only lost one popular vote for POTUS since 88.
Biden is the furthest left POTUS Democrats have had post Reagan. And he’s still disliked strongly by the true left. The progressives. As with any progressive movements ever in the history of our nation, there’s natural pullback on the conservative side. It’s unfortunately just how it always will be. This is the first big progressive movement in which social media and the internet are huge, so it’s extrapolated. Both parties are more alike than they are different. Domestic social issues are the thing they disagree on the most. Everything else … They’re very similar. Party switches can happen very easily when they’re that close. It has happened before and it can happen again.

I was going to vote for Obama but then he told all the criminals and thugs that they were allowed to act up because "some were not treated fairly" and told all the rudest and criminal minded that they could treat cops and anyone in authority badly with no consequences. No one knew they were allowed to cuss out any authority without punishment but Obama told them and from that day people got very bold and we started having the worst riots in history daily since that very moment. Then a bunch of cops got executed and Obama invited the bloods or crips to the whitehouse " to discuss "why" so ok now the public asks Obama to now have the families of the slain cops to the Whitehouse and he said NO. Then during the Comemerative speech to the graduating class where not a single negative word has been spoken in history because it is to send a positive word to the next graduating generation of leaders but Michelle said that she knows she wakes up everyday in a house built by slaves and that any bad thing in every person's life can lead back to a white man. That was very sad to hear in a time for unity and peace and for progress. The country went straight downhill from then on. Riots, Looting and just total rudeness became the lefts stance on life and although we had 2 years of healing and prosperity, people fought tooth and nail to end that progress because its not their team and then the pandemic put the nail in it.

As a person that lived on an island with no tv and had no political stance or side I did all my own research with no influences. I imagined I was a Democrat because of what they claim they are about but that was a huge lie, I don't follow a lot of the rights ideas either and they have issues I can't get with but you can look on youtube and see thousands and thousands of videos of the left lieing, stealing, cheating, killing, looting, rioting, constant freaking out on minor disagreements, fits, acting out, destroying property. But you only have Jan. 6 for the right and yes there are a lot of idiots on both sides and personally I think people that go to these rallies on either side are a bit kookoo but if you get in an argument with a righty they are most likely going to say agree to disagree and go separate ways but the majority of the left will go nuts and want to ruin your life if you disagree about the most trivial of subjects. 100 percent of gang members vote one way. 99 percent of prisons vote one way. If you ask around the globe what the most corrupt city is, Chicago is on top of most lists as the most politically corrupt so one could assume that to get to the top of politics in Chicago you probably are not squeaky clean and look who came up there.
Why is it that the leaders of the most dirty, homeless and destroyed cities are the richest of all the politicians? Because they don't get rich when things are good, they get rich off the subsidies given to help the poverty but it goes in their pockets. It's ctually genius but evil.
I also don't understand why poor people seem to vote against their best interest. Today a lot of truckers r shot at Americans don’t care. As soon as Columbus landed on American soil he made 6 Indians his servants- slaves. A law was passed to murder every Indian. The Indian women where knocking them out left& rt. After a few Mexican women got ko,d big time. They still kept yelling racist crap. The Indian women kept knocking them out. A group was chased across the st and ko,d. The Indians where out numbered . 1 ko,d a Mexican her head bounced off the concrete like the others. Then she backed up & let it out - trash talking . Telling them I,ll knock all you blank repeated, etc. I never heard trash talk like that since 86 traveling. Once you see it you figure it out , that’s why it took so long to get control of them & get the land. None of the men fought the Indian men where smaller 5,9 not 6,5+ like a lot of them around here. Oneida Indians where America,s 1st ally . GW promised they could keep there 6 mil acres in Ny. They ended up with 32 acres then told to move to Oneida Wi.
