Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
But who’s going to Triumph? I know they say 2025 for a 450 team, but these guys have to be thinking about a new team to ride for.
The problem with this theory is that Kawasaki would almost certainly outbid Suzuki. I think Tomac is in his last Supercross season too. He might want to run outdoors to try to win the SMX championship, but I bet he sails off into the sunset by the end of 2023. That means at least one Star ride is open. I also bet they would not mind having Webb and Sexton to Star would probably outbid Suzuki too. I could also see Plessinger getting moved to Husky or Gasgas and KTM might be able to have Webb and Sexton for a year. I think Webb retires in a couple of years anyway.
Now see I don’t follow this take at all. “Get head right”? He’s trying to win a race, he can’t back it down when Coop is right there, gotta blast it through whoops, ohp, caught an edge and goes down. Shit happens.
I’d say he’s doing quite well. He’s been bringing it outdoors and in. 2 points off the lead in the series with many races to go.

I have not really been a Sexton fan, but I'm starting to like him more and more. I really think he is so close to being a dominant rider . If he can figure out how to eliminate the mistakes. It seems like he is getting better each year and making less big mistakes. This weekend he still finished second. I was amazed he had enough time to get back up and still be in second. I hope he is able to stop crashing . There are only so many times you can crash without getting hurt.
I know Eli is still a ways off, but what if he wins 10 more races this season and is in second for all time SX wins? Would he come back and try and go for that record? that 72 win record seems so impossible to be beat these days. But back then when MC got the record there were less races per year too. Its so amazing how he was so dominant for so long.
the second Chase went down, JS7 groaned "Oh man - this is WRECKING his confidence" and you know that it has to be happening. Next time he's got a 3s lead on ET3, he runs high odds of getting stiff, over-thinking, and BOOM - down he goes again. Poor kid has got to get the monkey off his back and string together a few clean WINS. Not 2nd place. WINS and he'll start putting it all together.
I don’t think that can happen without changing bikes. He needs a reset. Moving to a more stable bike will probably help. It wouldn’t shock me if he wins outdoors on the Honda this year.
Riding blonde effs him up.
I've heard a lot of people talking about the Sexton switching brands, I might be in the minority, but I think switching to KTM will set him back speed wise. I could see him geling with the Yamaha but switching to any other brand will help out the competition.
Stamp it.
Paraphrasing DV12's IG : Chase was skimming the whoops through the jump line. Don't do that. Jump through the jump line. Skim elsewhere.
Is that the same line Webb almost crashed on a lap prior?
i'll bet when chase slows down some....is when he'll start winning. he makes almost all his mistakes while leading or when hes by himself. goes faster/better when hes chasing someone....not trying to beat them by 10 seconds.
Its a funny post, well, I took is that anyway!
Bob can baffle the best of em.
Remember when Tomac was a choker and many thought he would never win a 450 SX title?
With his mad skills I think Chase will eventually put it all together just like Eli.
If I were a team manager for a manufacturer I would happily hire Chase. There's nothing not to like about him. He's humble, makes zero excuses, and he's a great role model. His parents clearly did a great job raising him. I don't understand how anyone can bash on the kid. He's the fastest in the world at any given Supercross race.
Yeah he makes mistakes while leading which is unfortunate, but it's not taking him out of championship contention yet. I think he'll clean it up but if not he's still a contender even with his mistakes.
If he ever does iron out those stupid little mistakes it’s going to get boring for a bit.
A few ppl have Said he is mentally tough..
where is the evidence to show that??
Yea he talks well and seems strong in front of the camera after the race.
But no one knows what's going through his head half way through the main. He could have so many negative thought and second guessing himself.
Pit Row
He is, on the contrary, mentally weak. As James says he expects the fastest qualifier and race lapper to win.
He should on that expert reasoning have a large points lead in the Championship.
Mistakes, unforced errors always happen with every racer pushing the edge.
its about trying to minimize them!
he will Be fine
It seems like he gets locked into one line and doesn’t want to risk moving, then it bites him every now and then. Maybe being scared to make mistakes is causing more mistakes. Hopefully he’ll find that balance.
He has a season or two left before he might not be the fastest every week so hopefully he’ll close the show before it’s too late
That’s an awful lot of speculation.
He has three offers on his table, I highly doubt Suzuki is even in the discussion.
So he tipped over. He’ll smooth out jeez. It’s a long series. He already won a 250 championship. Even if he gets second every race, he’ll be close to winning it. I’m not even sure he needs to switch brands, other than Jett moving up. He seems good on the Honda.
Chase is racing some of the best riders of in the world in supercross and motocross and leaving them, many times in his dust. Many of the heavy hitters will be gone soon and he will be the 450 veteran with proven speed. If you were going to take a rider for a three year deal, the list of arguably better picks is pretty small imo.
Yeah, no, forsure no team wants a guys that is without a doubt or argument the first, second or third best rider on any given day. He might as well just throw in the towel
He's already supposedly signed the deal with KTM
I agree, likely Honda, Kawasaki and KTM
Whichever way he goes, we still get to see him kick ass
Supposedly LOI only....any rider could sign a LOI with multiple teams, imho
When Chase changes bikes next year it certainly won’t help his mental game.
yeah i heard KTM retracted the offer & Honda dropped him for Jett. Everywhere else already booked up. I have it on good authority he's joining the ironworkers union back in Illinois & starting a vital mx account.
Post a reply to: Did Hodaka retract the offer to Chase after last night?
