Blair and RC work well together. I like JT and seems he is getting better. My only question is why do they have to drop down to Will Christian every few minutes. Hell why not just put in the booth ? I just can't see the fascination with her on the broadcast.

So she gets tv time during the race because of her accent ? Now it all makes sense while she is rambling on about something that she was told the week before.

Hmm?? Mine worked flawless all night as far as no lag or anything. Do you guys get lag while playing a show or anything else? Or is it just the SX broadcast?

I never have problems streaming anything , but in response to cyg I said I was experiencing a similar issue. The stream is flawless till right around when the 450 main starts , then it's not. I leave the app , come back and it's fine again . Now this has happened during all 4 events exactly the same way and obviously this one started two hours earlier than the others yet it happens in the same part of the stream . Strange .

Also I don't think Peacock sucks. I watch all kinds of other content on there without issue .

I think diversity is always a great thing! Heck, I've got an accent! But If an accent bugs anyone one way or the other then they are flat out a piece of shit human.  For me its the content they hand her, they always have her go on for 2 minutes in the last 3 minutes of every race with some sort of made up "feel good" story. For example "On my way to the track yesterday I stopped by the pet store to look at kittens, turns out the kitten I was looking at had run into Eli Tomac at the rental car booth and said that Eli was saying that he was super happy to be getting an upgraded rental, and felt that this upgrade was a sign of good things to come, the kitten had a #3 pattern in their fur coat, and their collar had the Colorado state flag on it, so I'd say this kitten really new what they were talking about and here is Eli about to win the race.".

They need to give her a real role, and stop with this type of nonsense. The last 3 minutes of any race are supposed to be the most exciting - find the action on the track and cover it!

It ain't her accent that's the problem.....it's the content and the blathering...the distracting interruption.        We don't need to hear from anyone during the race except the two people in the booth....

Save the blathering for before, in between and after the races so we can FF thru it.

I don’t really care for JTs podium interviews. Always seems to give backhanded compliments.

I started watching at 9:30, rewound it live, watched all the races, skipped everything in between, caught back up with the live broadcast at the redflag, no problems at all, crystal clear picture.

HD, no lag, been perfect for me. Maybe it’s your internet. A million times better than Mav. No complaints from me. I’m just happy we’re back on peacock. + replays are available to watch pretty quickly after the races end

Quality sucked tonight. Almost to the point where it wasn't fun to watch. I'm streaming Top Gun on Paramount plus right now and it's working fine so don't think it's my internet connection. I would much rather watch the races on cable. It's lame that we don't have a choice this year and are stuck with peacock for most of the races.

Yep. Not at all the same lol. Hubbards explanation is a great example of the lack of knowledge and blaming the service. I bet if you fire up Peacock and stream a show it will work just as well as Paramount. 100% not the same as live productions.

Correct. Some people need to learn more about this before blaming peacock. My internet is great and any live stream I watch the quality is always great

Funny!

No problems at all with Peacock during the main event.

Kudos to Daniel Blair and RC - great job I thought - good pairing.

Then there is Dan Hubbard. Sorry, just don't sync with his style.

Only issues today that I caught were audio issues during the afternoon qualy show and these are production issues not Peacock.

Hubbard is the worst part of the entire day.

You guys that are having issues log into speedtest.net and post your speeds.  I have to think that is 99% of the problem.

I agree that the problems I have are on my end.  But, I already pay for the "best" available in my rural area.  I'm pretty good friends with my providers tech guy.  He has spent many hours tweaking everything.  It's better than it's ever been but sometimes, like last night, it's just useless.  I ain't mad or even upset.

I will also unashamedly admit that I know diddly about tech stuff.  If it works...good.  If it doesn't ...I got a million other things I should be doing.  Vital will dissect everything and feed me like a baby bird.Tongue

I too have the lag but I’ll take that over not having a window to see where I am when fast forwarding.

I had about 30 seconds of lag at one point, then it went away. I never thought I would complain about this but I think I don't like not having commercials. These multi colored circles with message, "don't go away" with the screen saver music about puts me to sleep. At least just leave the camera on the track so I can have something to look at or put commercials on so there is some background noise. I almost hate saying that because I hate commercials, but I hate that music worse.

I just did a speed test with the VPN on 382.40Mbps down/170.23 up without VPN 850.09 down/509.57 up. The tv is obviously not running through the VPN

Only issue I had with Houston was them droning on about 8th place for the remaining laps, while Sexton Pursued eventual winner Tomac...I was losing my mind they did not at least do a split screen, I did not give a rats ass about 8th place and his debut ride (forgot who it was).

Laughing Comment of the century right here. That's Will in a nutshell.

As for Peacock, I've noticed my streaming experience has improved exponentially since I moved to a place with better internet. Make of that what you will.

An option to download the race for offline viewing is really the only way to get around user end connection issues. Of course a download option would only be available as a replay, not live.

Lol...I'm watching the replay now.  It's flawless and crystal clear.  That'll do me.

International pass has worked great as well. Outdoors was always a PITA to get outside of the US and you needed two different subscriptions,  so this current setup is a big improvement.

INTERNATIONAL PASS--- We were down in Mexico a few weeks ago and couldn't watch. Will be back down in a few weeks. How are you watching in Mexico ?

Same here. The only issues I’ve ever had were based on Data/WiFi service.
