I can't wait to see all these SX rookies race tomorrow night. It's gonna add some excitement and interest

I agree! As a father all you want is for your kid to stay healthy!

Shouldn't they call it a Supercross debut, not a "Pro" debut?  Nationals don't count?

I thought last week was his Supercross debut and this is his Pro debut?

I think he should probably ride like AC is riding right now. Don't push it, get the laps in and learn as he goes. Just a little bit more each week would be a realistic goal.

What about Christophe Pourcel? I think he got 2nd his first SX and 1st the week after against Villopoto..

Pretty good results for french riders debuts on SX... I think Vialle could surprise us

Solid ride for Haiden, he didn’t have too many mistakes and also made some good passes. All the rookies rode very well tonight.

I had my doubts after last weekend but he rode great. Definitely possible to be on the podium.

I don't think he is ready (for regular podiums). Might get a top 5 by seasons end if he stays healthy.

That didn't age well. Lol

Well to be fair the statement is technically still correct Wink

Haiden was more than impressive this last weekend...but BOY, has he developed an ego already! In the post race interview, he gushed on how perfectly he rode, and hit his marks "every single time"! I know pros are supposed to have egos and confidence in their skills and how they ride, but Haiden seems to have it in spades, and is only what...17? Imagine how he's going to be in a few years! It might just be youthful exuberance too...and I hope that's it.

Geez he felt good about how he rode in his first SX race…so that’s developing an ego? Basically he was saying that his race went better than he planned as he also said that he was just hoping for a top ten…

Late to the party but I was pretty impressed with Deegan this past weekend. I've not been a fan or a hater, my attitude is I'll figure these kids out when they turn pro. I don't spend much time following amateur results.

I was keeping an eye on Haiden for Pulp fantasy purposes. His Futures race was not ideal, and honestly every time the Race Day Live broadcast caught him during timed Q on Saturday he was making mistakes. I decided to pass on him, gambling that his debut might be rough and I could do better with him the next week. Well come the night show, he rode really well and from what I could see from the broadcast he was a lot more consistent. His pass on Hymas was bitchin'. On the RacerX review Matthes and JT referred to some sketchy moments in the main as well, and I'm sure there were a few things we did not get to see.  Still super impressed with him.

Also impressed with Vialle. It came undone a bit at the end but technically he's very good and while his whoop speed is not equal to Hunter, Smith and the top guys, he rides them properly and was blitzing all night.  I am very interested to see how he develops as the season goes on.

You’re right. I checked the vault and he came just once before for LA 2 1997 and finished 7th of the 250 main.

Not many could do that today.

it’s a bummer how his US career went, he had some amazing rides but ended up on the ground too much.

Glen Helen 1999 was fantastic!

You might be the literal only human (or monkey?) on the planet to see that interview as egotistical. Perhaps you should get out more and touch some grass.

Maybe it was a 17 year old kid that was excited about what he just accomplished (rightfully so). You are the same guy that would complain if he gave a cookie cutter, “I’d like to thank my sponsors” interview.

You're leaving out his 125sx results he had in 1995. He came over long before he got his 1st win.

I just finished listening to Pulp. I agree with Steve and Keffer.. Haiden is loose and has a crazy corner speed. Great people around him so I don't see why he couldn't be a great. My question with him is all about crashes. Roczen was also very loose before San Diego. He is overiding a bit to me but I can understand why with the hype ect. I need to see him react to different scenarios to get a better idea of him. Could be Villo, could be also Alessi.

On the other side, I have no doubt that Vialle will be a great. Great starter, great technique, great parents, great attitude, great worker, humble, quite ect. I had Everts and Tomac like my gods of MX but I already know the next. Vialle will be SX champion. He will be the next Frenchman who will become 450 SX champion.

I assume you mean the one I did. He was just really excited. He's still a kid and it was not very long after that ride. He comes across pretty humble when I talk to him. Give him a chance

The Deeganites are less than humble. You just don't matter bro.

Not going to be pretty when things go bad and it's time for payback.

He probably wins tomorrow and never loses again. If you say otherwise you are a hater!
