Well per Star they are amateur bikes not Pro bikes. And Daxton was on the same bike. I believe the Husky rider is racing at Arlington so many of these will be in the east for races. I would expect Daxton and Deegan to line up next week. As was said before, now that you can't point out might as well get the experience
I'm not sure but either way looks like it would be a 7th.
I have been following MX/SX for about 45 years now.
I have been around to see a lot of "next big things "become "whatever happened to"s.
Have also seen a lot of riders kind of step up out of nowhere. An example would be Dungey.
Now with social media blowing up so much, the hype gets bigger and more prolific because the (over?) hyped actually encourage and monetize it.
I guess that is kind of a good, but It is a bit messed up to an OG.
I will simply say this.
I think there is a good chance that "danger boy" will break all kinds of records in our sport.
After his performances at ironman and A2, I am just not sure if the records broken will be RC4's or AF55's/AC9's.
Note: I do not mean any disrespect to Forkner or Cianciarulo. Not really an AF fan but dang. What a kick in the nuts for him. Always kind of pulled for AC because he always seemed like a good guy that got hyped by everybody else and handled it well. Best of luck to both in the future.
Lets be honest hear .Ive watched Haiden since the day he started racing and the kid is loaded with talent .He is one of the best amateurs that are getting ready to turn pro ..Is he the best amateur right now id have to say no he isnt .Heres my take on Saturday night .. I would think that the nerves got to him by the way he rode ..He never settled in and let the race come to him he was over riding the whole time I dont remember one lap that he didnt come up short on things or make some other mistake..I think he wouldve had a better result if he had just calmed down and started racing the track ,The same goes for the kid that qualified ahead of him ,i think he even looked worse than Haiden did ..The only two riders that impressed were Dax and Casey ..if it wasnt the nerves getting to him or something of that effect then hes got aways to go before anyone starts comparing him to James or any other all time great. I cant wait to watch this futures class its going to get even better after these kids get a few rounds under their belt and when Ryder D returns from injury

Because they view him as a cash cow.
I would bet against Dax lining up next week for the east rounds.
So Futures falls under the claim rule so no rider will be running full pro bikes. So likely nothing crazy trick on any of the bikes racing
He was on the list last week we will see if he lines up. I heard he was just pre entered just in case.
I guess all the Deegan haters missed Pala (his second pro race) where it was 100° and he passed Ryder D and got a top 10 in moto 2. If that doesn’t convince you he’s legit, nothing will.
Didn’t bother the first three that much.🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
I dont think there's many haters. Just people tired of hearing he's the next RC. You forgot to mention Ryder beat him in the first moto and had a bad crash 2nd moto. Out of 4 pro motos they've raced together Ryder has finished better in 3.
Can you for 1 minute imagine the actual pressure on that kid to actually do great?……
im glad I don’t have that kind of pressure on me everyday
Star already has 3 riders doing east coast. You believe they will put 5 out there?
Also, James' first SX was for money.... An actual pro race even if, a regional event.
Looks like he isn't lining up and they figured it was an easy win.
Everyone of them were making mistakes right and left. Not one of them had a perfect race with no mistakes and time lost.
He was a pre-entry before a2. Brian touched on this in an interview and said they aren’t holding that as a must. With that said I would still be surprised if he doesn’t race.
Pit Row
Lol, you might be able to fool you wife into thinking that was 15 seconds but I can guarantee it wasn’t!
I was going to leave this thread alone, but your bait was too good to pass up.
Let’s not say Top 10 as if he finished better than 10th. Top 10 sure sounds better than 10th eh?
2nd he probably has more seat time at that track than most pros, so he should be good there. In fact should be better than barely cracking the top 10.
His performance there with a 16-10 for 13th overall doesn’t scream next big thing to me all factors considered.
PS privateer Derek Kelley was 11th overall. So yeah……Nothing against Kelley but if you are truly the next big thing a privateer team rider shouldn’t be beating you.
I don't have the quote but I'm sure I've heard Brian say that they've been training Haiden at supercross forever because supercross is what's important and nobody cares about motocross. He was disappointing on saturday after he's shown good speed and racecraft at other amateur races.
Alot better competition in the futures race than I was expecting.
Who are these people saying he's the next RC/Stew/gonna lap Jett? Besides know-nothing YouTube commenters, and NorCalRedRider being an admitted troll on the subject, I just haven't seen it, but people keep bringing it up like it's all over the place. Being a fan ≠ thinking he's going to break the record books.
RC won his second pro National. Tomac won his first.
He crashed on his own here. Could have been a different race without this.
To be fair his 2nd national was 10 months later...
Pretty messed up when it happened, but that one is on dad 100%. Can’t blame a kid for that.
I don’t really follow him or root for him, but it’s crazy how much judgement from one race. Anything can happen in a race and he isn’t racing some scrubs. Those guys are great riders! This race didn’t go his way, but I could just as easily see him getting a great start and dominating the next one if he doesn’t go pro.
Those guys were wayyy older than I expected them to be. They were all old enough to be pros. I was expecting something like ages 14-17 I guess. I just grew up in a time when pro debuts were almost always at age 16 or 17. I know the 4 stroke has changed that and I haven’t gotten with the times I guess.
Brian said in a inteview that he asks RC and other guys there opinion and they all said " Throw him in the pro ranks ASAP" Unless he is hurt I expect him to race one of the next 2 East Coast rounds
Did you slide into Haiden’s DMs, asked him out on a date, then he rejected you? You seem to be obsessed with this guy. Super weird.
Guess when the Deeganites got nothing to back up the hype, they try and insult instead. Now go tell Hayden you defended his honor on vital. Good job little Deeganite.
