DB killed it last night! Hopefully we can get him full time next year. Per usual, RC is fumbling to find words and complete sentences but DB holds the broadcast together better than Leigh did. Blair’s breakdown is awesome too.
As someone who has been critical of him as of late the combination worked better for me than RC and Diffy.
Can someone get Blair to let RC know he doesn’t have to throw out the words “inside & outside” every time a racer is behind another racer?
Why? He is on a mission, it doesn't even sound like he's trying.
I like Blair but he is such a Webb homer.

Blair is awesome. The best we have and he and RC have a good vibe.
Blair is great, I feel like RC got a lot better a couple years ago, then has regressed since then. Tries too hard to get a sentence out immediately, then gets lost in the middle of it. He's awesome to listen to in podcasts, but live calling a race he falls apart trying to be too "amped"
Zero complaints about these two as a duo, it needs to be permanent.
If you are even paying attention to what they are saying last night, you need help.
The on track action spoke for itself.
Blair was great , RC was RC.
I also thought he did fantastic last night. I was a doubter of Blair for years but he has been grinding and bettering his craft every broadcast.
They did a great job.
It’s about time we get two guys that actually really know the sport working together!
Ralph and DB in the booth, with JT on the track??
Ralph is the worst thing that has ever happened to the sport. Weege and DB would be perfection.
It’s pretty impressive that Blair is so good at the play by play role
DB, Stew, MC & RC would be the best coverage.
I get it. Ralph is a good dude. Maybe he’s a good fit for track side or Race Day Live… but he was horrible in the booth. Some combination of RC, DB, Weege and Emig would be the best in my opinion. RC struggles, but I think he’s getting pressure to “create” excitement. RC would be excellent if he could relax and just give play by play from someone who has done it at the highest level.
DB is good
Blair needs to be in there full time! He was great last night.
I’m probably in the minority, but I’d rather Blair as the trackside reporter, he’s exceptional in that role. I also like RC and don’t care that he’s not polished, he’s way better with Leigh than he was with Ralph.
Either way I think it’s great that they keep mixing up the commentary team.
Pit Row
DB is good. I like RC too tho. Id like to hear RC relate incidents to stories from he's racing career and battles.
I get what you mean, but in reality it usually snowballs or people just see it as them trying to 'make it all about them' and their experiences.
Wish they would just put Daniel in the booth full time already. People have been begging for years and him and RC mesh extremely well
David Vuillemin and Blair in the booth, with a 2nd David Vuillemin trackside.
Don’t forget Jim Holley and some girls from LA.
I agree....
and after last night, I think it should be Blair and....................

Justin Brayton.
Great analysis and much more polished in his first go then RC has ever been......
Still Too much story telling and blather. Just call the race.
As usual they start counting points and winner with 10 min left.
DB +RC > LD + RC. I remember first hearing Blair in arenacross broadcasts and being impressed with his commentary skills.
DB + Weege would be all time.
Blair was great. RC horrid per usual.
I wonder if anyone complaining about RC has actually really stopped to think about how cool it is that we have the GOAT, (the greatest of ALL TIME) in the booth. The dude could have sailed off into the sunset with the money he made, instead he's right here every week giving us his insight. I used to complain about him too, but when you actually think about what he did in the sport, you can forget about all his odd Rickyisms and mistakes and just appreciate the fact that he's there.
To your point, commentating is his job, I in no way feel like he is doing us a favor by getting paid to give his expert analysis poorly
Daniel Blair , RC and JT. Yes left the other whatever she is out.
