I'm more worried about Oakland to be honest. I live in Bay Area and it's been raining for a complete day since yesterday. I don't want to attend to a mud race. We'll see.

Jokes aside, it's been raining a lot in California and thank god we need it.

Things always seem to push a day and decrease at least little when looking at ten days out. The way it looks now, if they built the track between Sunday and Wednesday and then covered it until Saturday, it would probably be perfect.

I'm more worried about Oakland to be honest. I live in Bay Area and it's been raining for a complete day since yesterday. I don't want to attend to a mud race. We'll see.

Mud races are some of the most fun to attend as a spectator.  Usually the crowd is lighter and the pits aren’t a complete zoo of shoulder to shoulder people, plus the racing is more unpredictable.  Bring the right rain gear and it’s a really fun day actually.

Looks like Saturday will be dry, wonder how the wet conditions are/have affected the track building?

Good question. I would assume the track is already built and covered?

I was hoping so, but it’s been raining on and off for the last week so I wasn’t sure if they got in early enough.

Yeah, I am about 15 miles South and it’s been raining/drizzling since Friday off and on, mostly on. Not heavy but enough to keep the roads wet. I’ll be there Saturday however and hope the track was built and covered. Mud races suck.

I always loved my dad's variation of this, "too dumb to pour piss out of a boot, with the directions on the heel"! The visual of this cracks me up!
