This may be wild speculation but I would be willing to bet your own father called them peoples that bombed us in Hawaii a lot worse things than “japs” Dry

Maybe, But he would of had the class not to say it on a podcast platform or something similar.

Yes, your dad and grandfather were great Americans for fighting for this great country. You, not so much. You’re now serving this country by speculating something or someone is racist when there isn’t anything to support it. It’s a big problem we have in this country. Thanks for contributing to the division.

Wasn’t there a thread not too long ago about the “sport getting too soft” … guess this guy confirms it. 🤦‍♂️

15 minutes tops it was a great show

Surprised he didn’t discuss his trip to Alaska to race at Kincaid park when he carried his suspension on the plane with him

It’s was a great podcast for sure! Ping also started a new whiskey throttle forum. Everyone besides Steven should go check it out! (No ❄️ allowed)

I met him at Daytona SX in 2000, my first time there, when I was racing for Factory Yamaha. He introduced himself as « I’m Bob Hannah, the legend ». I shook his hand and didn’t know how to reply to that so I didn’t say a word. That’s the only interaction I’ve had with him. He’s from before the time of my idols but I’ll listen to the show when I have a few hours to kill. I’ll make sure to take it with a grain a salt…

He could be in his 50s. I know two people in their 50s who's parents fought in Normandy.

My father served in WW2, pilot of a Constellation Catalina. Yes, I'm on Vital Forum too. Wide range of age groups here!

I met Hannah at the Indianapolis trade show in the early 2000's. The man exudes arrogance.

I was fortunate enough to spend a week or so as a guest of Bob's while elk hunting back in the 80's while Bob was still riding Honda's. He was a great host and a lot of fun to be around. I'm sorry if he offends any snowflakes on this forum. As to my age, yeah, I'm 66 and on here because I still love moto!

I'm 52 my stepdad served in WW2. Was in the Philippines and then was part of the occupying forces in Japan. So I would be a little slower to call bullshit on someone.

On a non-moto thread here Dave Chapelle is called a genius and brilliant despite dropping numerous nbombs, fbombs, and derogatory terms towards women, yet Hannah uses a term politically accurate for the time it describes and is offensive. Go figure.

Not saying it's impossible, but I can assure you, the folks you know are the exception and not the rule. Average age of the WW2 soldier was 26.

If I'm a betting man, I bet Stevie's full of chit. He get's triggered because Hannah refers to the Japanese as "Japs"??? Really?? He sounds more like an avg 20 something snowflake.

I hardly consider the word, "japs", a racial slur.
Does this clown feel the same way about, brits, yanks, jews, arabs, or any other abbreviated group ???

Bob Hannah showed up to the line ready to kill anyone he needed to for the win. I really wish we had racers like that today.
