Nice. I will be racing 50+ pro on saturday on my 2005 RM250 unless I happen to pick up a 450 before then.

And then racing Pasha 50+ pro on sunday. I know this is shocking but this will not be the first time I will get beaten by MC haha

As people mentioned....

Pros: Glen Helen, awesome track, great competition (even is there are some sand baggers in the Nov/Int classes), get to see friends.

Cons: all day event both days, the stagging/gate selection process is less than ideal.

Overall I love the event. I do have the luxury of living 30 minutes from the track. Would I go if I lived 1000 miles away. Unlikely. But that is the same reason I don't do Loretta's as well

That is the plan!!! And as for the suspension beggars can’t be picky

RC works for Triumph but just did a video with Mitch and Bones for Monster riding a KX125, so MC on a Honda could happen. But I doubt it based off availability more than anything.
RC also rides a PC KX450 as his moto bike because Triumph doesn't have one yet. Once they release theirs, RC won't be riding Kawis anymore.

You are correct. We have made some significant changes to reduce the chaos. The new staging area and process worked significantly better at the 2-Stroke Championships this year. We will be modifying the practice staging as well this year which should help as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone this year at the Dubya World Vet MX Championships. At least it will have adequate hold up for when you short the leap.

Still confused on how the 3 moto format works. Will we just have to stay tuned to see how many motos you guys get through on Saturday?

Exactly, you have to have TWO rounds to be a World Championship.

The goal is to get through all the races for Moto 1 and just over half of the races for Moto 2 on Saturday. That leaves less than half of the races for the rest of Moto 2 on Sunday and all of Moto 3. The pro races will be 2 motos in one day. The World Cup race will be 1 Moto on Saturday and 1 Moto on Sunday. We are releasing the tentative race schedule and a track map a little later today. Keep an eye out on social media or sign-up to be on our email list to get it that way at glenhelen.com.

Thank you! Sounds like it will be a long weekend regardless but a lot of fun. Hope this new format works good

Should be a lot less hectic since there are only 3 motos over 2 days instead of 4. We have also redesigned the staging for both practice and races. This is a staging row for each gate drop. This proved to be a success at the 2-Stroke race this year.

Why did the price go up per class? Wasn't it $100 last week? I thought that was steep but $150 for one class is insane. Might have to pass on this event and just go ride somewhere for $30-40......

It is $100. If you got in on our early bird specials it was as low as $50 back in June.

Anyone know any other ex pros that are signed up for the race? I'd like to see Josh Grant line up.

Sorry bout that. I thought that he was just banged up little bit. Bummer. He'd probably have pocketed the money at this race.

Matthes suggestions being put to use. Course his Monday night pulp show right after will be filled with excitement still.

Isn't Mike Alessi old enough now to race the WVC? Broc Tickle might be able to use the ez money.

Mike Brown is racing 30+, 40+, and 50+ Pro.
I'm not an ex-pro, but I do plan on racing next year.
