There used to be an absolute uniqueness to the sport whereby promotors worked under (much) looser parameters, yet the races still ran. legends were born & heroes emerged. It wasn't always perfect but the job was complete. Our sport will always be niche and that is OK. NPG/AMA then onto Daytona/MXSports have led to over polished, 1 day events (2 days was 10X better for core fans), promotors having to adhere to crazy new guidelines (one lap around Unadilla, easy to see - filled in start straight/manmade obstacles on what once was the premier outdoor circuit ever), Moto Tees and...

In for 50 pro (on my 2006 RM250) and 125 50+ pro (2017 YZ125). Injured my wrist so have not ridden since Mammoth MX (tried at Perris a few weeks ago and it was a no go) so not expecting too much.

10/13/2022 1:43pm Regarding the chaos at staging last year, they have made some pretty decent changes and seem to be getting more organized. I was at the 2-stroke event this year and they had a much better system compared to World Vets 2021.

The AMA National Grand Prix Championship made its way to GH this weekend for the Prairie Dogs Gp and the course and conditions couldn't have been any better. Some light rain throughout the weekend left the surrounding hills with perfect dirt to make a 9 mile, 15 minute Pro laptime and what almost every rider has said to be one of the best GP layouts ever ridden at Glen Helen. Here's a full lap from Friday's practice. Enjoy!
