Isn't the power core 2.1 the new 4 stroke style and the 2.0 the older style.
No,
The 2.1 from last year was smaller in diameter, like the stock silencer. Personally I like the new bigger muffler, it’s not as big as the 4.1 and is very light to be honest.
This was last years 2.1

For those prices I'll keep the short stock silencer.

What should I run for premix oil. I always ran Amsoil or motul 800 but the mechanic said only use motorex 60:1

Any insight.

My dealer stocks champion WP2, they swear by it as does another 40yr moto mechanic (family friend). I run that just for ease of use when I go in the dealer to BS every couple of saturday's.

If you look at the power parts catalog, they are offering a few different colored plastics, if you can’t stand the orange. To each their own, they have a pretty blue you might like ? It’s either that or white or black.

They should offer Honda red, Kawasaki green, and Suzuki yellow!

927 and c12. Anything else and you’re robbing yourself of one of the greatest pleasures of a 2 stroke.

Local dealer near Indianapolis got an xc snd sx today. The sx seemed to sit really high. Has anyone compared the new husky to the ktm in actual seat height?

I use Motorex. It’s a quality oil and no reason to switch it up. Have had great luck using it in my ‘19 XCW300 and my ‘18 SX150.

While I agree with the aroma from that mix of fuel/ oil, 927 has caused the power valve to gum up and the race gas is not necessary IMO.
Although, I may mix a gallon of C-12 with 3 gallons of 91 pump to clean up the dirty pump gas that we have ended up with…

800 is only for high revving like 85/125, motul 710 is what you want for 250/300's.

I run 1gal VP110 to 4gal of 93 non ethanol myself. I agree on the 927 bean oil, I stick to semi syn premix.

I run VP T2 in all my two strokes. It’s probably excessive but consistent and I don’t have to store or buy oil. It’s probably not the cheapest way to do things but oh well.

If I could get it closer to the house I would run that myself although I believe its mixed 40:1 which is a little richer than I would run in these TBi bikes. May not make a difference at all but I've seen on some of the KTM FB groups guys mixing 40:1 on the TBi and fouling plugs during warm up.

IMO Klotz has the best smell but I run Golden Spectro at 50:1 for 40 years.

Lol
Being honest here, I miss the smell of 927/C-12 mix, I really do.
I ran it in most of my 2-strokes from ‘92-‘05. But I was also doing a top end a lot more frequently than is needed on the KTM’s these days, so cleaning all that gunk off the power valves was part of replacing the pistons.
I’m getting 100+ hours on my KTM’s and I don’t really want to tear it apart just to clean the power valves.
