Looks like that jump Catazarro launched at Tomahawk earlier this year
That was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw that measurement….haha.

Spoken like someone who’s never made it out the C class at best.

I could put any rider in the world on the right bike travelling at the perfect speed to clear that jump and guarantee 99.9% of them destroy themselves. The skill involved is levels beyond what you can even comprehend

You’re right, twisting the throttle, nutting up, and flying 180’ doesn’t take much skill. But you know what does? Keeping the bike under control and sticking the landing.

Hahahaha love me some Vital… y’all are able to determine my skill level by a post? That’s alright. Y’all are flabbergasted and I’m not impressed. What skill was involved? I’ll go to your side of things.

He has to land the first jump successfully and then balance the weight of a 220 lbs machine as it rips out from under him on the way to the next jump. He has to have perfect throttle control on the way to the next jump. So he pins the throttle and goes as fast as he can. Then he has to precisely angle his bike so that it comes off the 20 ft wide face to send him at the right trajectory to land precisely half way down the landing. 5 feet longer or shorter, he’ll be ok but the precision of the landing space is important.

That jump takes a lot of courage. No doubt he is a skilled rider. This video shows the guts, not the skill. Hate away.

If you can't win a pro mx or sx race, you freestyle or jetski.

My favorite freestyle skill dream would be a huge Red Bull pay per view event at Namur. Invite every top freestyle rider in the world for the biggest payday ever in their life. One lap on the full track only with a green flag start topside right at the entry drop into the track in the woods, then when the lap is over and they come back out into the flat ceremony grounds in front of the citadel and thousands of people have a huge jump like that waiting right before the checkered flag for all the money paying way back. This thread should still be in non moto!

Bereman said afterwords that he went a little too far left. I'm glad he did, because it looks like he would have cased it pretty bad if he landed where he was intending to go and that would have been so bad.

The fact that this was dirt to dirt made it that much better.

I thought that fasthouse/the viewing east coast is toast series was awesome. That was the first I heard of him and always watch now when I see his name pop up.

It's not that much skill for any good riders, but the balls.

I'm dying that you squids honestly believe that it takes no skill to size up and hit a 200 foot blind jump successfully. Tell me you've never hit a big jump without telling me you've never hit a big jump. . .

Get back to work on your TPS reports or Lumberg is gonna fire your useless poser ass.

Love it! Yes it takes a huge set of balls to do, but it also takes an insane amount of skill to do as well. These aren't, with all respect," the Seth Enslow days of freestyle." You have to know how to ride a bike really, really good.

Wait, so you mean it was actually Maddo’s skill that allowed him to jump an entire football field, and not just a souped up CR500? That’s crazy talk.

Bro. He doesn't have half the skills of honda341 who spends his time behind a desk pushing out TPS reports for Lumberg. Just so he can go ride the local Vet track on the weekends in his Wulfsport gear on his 96 KTM250. Tyler ain't got shit on him.

100 percent of the dudes saying it takes no skill have had their day ended by a small kicker on a 30 foot tabletop because they don’t know how to ride a dirt bike.
