Not sure how this can be related, or if it was posted already, but here is a video from this April, where they're both racing against each other at Southwick 250LL qualifier. Haiden was leading the pack, as he felt down, and Brennan passed him and then they had a little bit of battle where they both went down. It seemed that Brennan was not too happy about the incident (pointing fingers). Video tags, if you don't want to watch the whole thing are: 0:52 Haiden #38 with a camo jacket, Brennan #409 on left side of the view at the gate. Haiden falling down and then chasing Brennan for few corners and both crashing starts at 3:09.
***EDIT - not sure on the pointing fingers after watching a vid and another view on Deegan's channel here (starts 5:57: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZ0Ime7iRSI. Could be just a sign to his mechanic, that he can't start the damn thing
I do not care too much on what is going on with this whole thing, I am just fan of racing honestly. Haiden is obviously really good, great on the bike, and I do not believe Yamaha would do any crazy bike stuff to risk their and Deegan's reputation. Nor I want to believe Brennan acts like this to damage Deegan's outlook and reputation, but I do understand, that if you are giving it all and everything to be successful and there is the one next to you, who you might feel like, has always had the best conditions (Let's be honest, Haiden had/has all possible tools to be successfull - material-wise) it can get under your skin. It's in all sports, some just have straighter paths than others, but its just the way it is. At this level the Good ones are separated from Great ones, and one thing is for sure Haiden is already a great one, no matter the equipment or material stuff. The talent is noticed.
This probably sounds stupid, okay it does sound stupid but I couldn’t help but think about the story of Little Red Riding Hood after watching that video.

I would claim a factory bike for a mere $17k any day just because of the R&D that star put into that motor. Time is money and testing/dyno time isn't free.
No doubts in Deegan's ability because the kid is a phenom. That said, with his talent he should be able to beat the field on a bike that doesn't exceed $20k.
Let's see the receipts and R&D time spent on Haiden's bike. I'm sure some heads would roll.
Wonder how much of that story is true.
Paging DC!
Would love hear MX Sports side of the story.
Pit Row
But no call, instead Harris or someone in taht group must have gone to Cooksey.
There's a reason why the claim didn't happen and that's what people want to know. This secretive bullshit just fuels the fire. If there's nothing to hide then no reason to be on the hush
There’s absolutely no chance Star would do anything unsporting.
Absolutely no chance they would attempt to pay someone off.
That motor had a HC piston, some GYTR cams and a graphics kit, but there’s no way they wanted to see that go for $17’500..
So much so they hid it in the truck shortly after swapping it for another one.. weird.
Motocross is/ was one of the quickest and easiest way to get into racing motorized vehicles. The cool factor is that our equipment is close. To make this happen....we have things in place (production rule for pros...claiming rule for amateurs). Just come clean and eat your soup.....tell us what happened so that we can be informed and pissed off instead of just pissed off.
