Will Roger think outside the box and make this happen or is he too set in his ways and picks the shell of Justin Cooper?

That would be interesting to see him on a KX 250. I’d say he’d probably he better than Cooper who is still recovering from his injury.

I'd rather see Barcia on a 250 than El Hombre if someone is going to step down.

Has Kawi changed their position on supporting the event?

Let’s get Barcia or maybe Anderson on the 250, and Mitch Payton or RC to be the team manager.

What American 250 guys are performing remotely close to Anderson?

There isn’t an American 250 rider in the top 3 of the 250 class.

Closest is Cooper in a very distant 4th.

All I know is that it doesn't appear to be all on Roger.

Jason likes to hang it out and that is exactly what would be needed on the 250. I think he would be a great pick for that.

My opinion is that the time between now and Unadilla will only open that door wider as the results can be analyzed from each of the next couple of races.

Yes, they will now be watching a Barcia or Anderson and see where they could fit along with watching the 250 guys like they were already doing.

I would take Bam Bam on a 250f over Anderson. But they both would do well I think and it is awesome that guys are stepping up. I don't think kawi would build a factory 250f for him but it would be a PC bike with factory kawi look

Man it’s refreshing to hear these guys say they want to go. (This year) Let Anderson do it. Let’s be honest, Cooper is not riding great. ET, Sexton, and Anderson can get it done, and I think they would work together to make sure of it.

All three of them get along with each other as well.

I feel like there would probably be complications for Anderson to ride a 250 since he rides for Factory Kawasaki and not Pro Circuit/Monster Kawasaki. Can’t see factory Kawasaki developing their own 250 for a one off event.

Barcia to a GasGas 250 would probably be an easier sell since his team has both a 250 and 450 program but I doubt the AMA is willing to drop a 450 rider down.

I’d bet they are 99% confident they are going to win it (and rightfully so) and with that they would be breaking a 10 year dry spell, so that’s going to be one hell of a party. They would be missing out on that if any of them says no this year lol

I hear you but that is part of the problem with everything these days. People make things way too hard now. Just get Mitch to supply the bike and do it. Pretty simple.

We put Cooper Webb on a “star” 450 in 2016. Not a JGR bike or anything. I agree: Don’t make it hard, get a bike, do it. I’m sure Mitch has no problem sending a bike to Red Bud.

Tomac, Chase, and Anderson are definitely the 3 rider's I'd prefer to have representing the country.

I agree, either him or Barcia will stick a better result than the current 250 dudes

What are the complications of Anderson riding a Pro Circuit bike for 1 weekend while he’s contracted with Factory Kawi? I’m sure it could be worked around

I'm pretty sure when RC stepped down to ride the 125cc class at the 2001 Steel City national he rode a Pro Circuit KX125 with a few things of his own like KYB suspension, etc.

Barcia can't even beat Dungey right now and some of you want him at MXON? Laughable...

Originally I was thinking it made more sense to drop Sexton down to the 250, but he and Tomac are proving to be the fastest and most consistent on the 450. It's probably better to keep them both right there in MX1 and MX3.

Then all we would need is one good moto from Jason and I like his enthusiasm!. #'Merica.

There shouldn't be any complications with that scenario at all.
