Top 10 ride. Everyone in front of him has ridden/raced/practiced on this track for years. He put tires on it the first time.... Thursday I think..could be wrong. And at 37 years old at that. I hope he stays with it...I could see podiums by the end of the season. Strictly my own opinion though...
Expect him to race a couple races, take a break, prepare and come back for the last few before the MXdN where he will want to be the best version of himself as a 37 year old with the no.1 plate for Italy.
Would be nice to see him race all 12 but I just don't see it.

Cairoli lacked intensity. It took him 5+ laps in both motos before he'd put in a competitive lap.
I disagree about his second moto being better. In moto 1, at least there were some signs in the last third where he was catching Tomac and Plessinger before the crash. I think the crash may have involved Tomac or when he went for the pass?
In moto 2, he was consistently average, almost like he was maybe managing his energy. No signs of any push from the halfway point, with the likes of McElrath reeling him in from way back!
Moto 1: Down 1:30 (with a crash losing 25-30 seconds)
Moto 2: Down 1.25
Expected more, as I'm sure he did. Hope Hangtown is better!
Hope it gets better, he is much better than this.

What's the ruling on frame mods again? I thought they could add gussets to firm it up, but you can't remove material?
Age and lack of practice has caught up with him to.
Not the end of the world, in front of barcia n plessinger
Dungey on the other hand was the big suprise , he looked a lot better and will surely improve in next rounds
Honda squad whooped some ass today
I saw a good performance by Cairoli. Not as good as the Cairoli of 2021 (who was getting podiums and some wins in mxgp), but not that far off. He wouldn't race these events without being ready and he would not give it a half hearted effort with so many eyes on him and so much pride on the line.
I thought his results were impressive considering the circumstances and being on a track new to him. I also believe it shows how fuggin fast ama riders are. And....Dungey is straight gangster.
Nobody expected him to win, top 5 at best.
He is an old guy on holiday.
