“The lack of noise will work to our benefit.”
Told them so, I guess 🤷♂️
You can’t give up an inch to that state. Take care of the noise and “pollution”, it’ll be something else.
Hopefully people wake tf up and start fighting against the people who do this instead of trying to “reinvent” the sport when you’ll just end up back at square one when that innovation is introduced.
I’ve seen how many mtb trails get closed . How they figured an electric bike would preserve anything is beyond my understanding.
Otherwise all 21 and older bikes that currently have a Red or green sticker will be grandfathered in 2025 as whatever the new “green sticker” status is. Similar to how 2003 and older 2 strokes got to keep green sticker. A few 22’s have gotten registered so they may get to be grandfathered but only time will tell. A few people with green sticker 2003 bikes got red eventually when someone caught it finally.
In short pay CARB to play on public land.

A. The facebook post is lying to get attention and to bash on California
B. That's not a real Honda and the importer didn't do the proper paperwork to get them legal to ride off road. This happened a lot with the Chinese Pit Bike Craze. Lots of little pop up shops were selling them for cash and pretending like they didn't need a title transfer to the new owner because that cost them more money in fees
I am sure there is fine pint to the what and why here, but the fact that is even a discussion, especially on an E-bike, is ridiculous. I think things like this make a large chunk of us really nervous as people slowly warm up to E-Bikes, wondering if we are still going to continue to get ripped of what makes us happy, while we are sitting here conforming.to something we should not be forced/ruled to conform to. As all of this shit goes down, I will be happy to pay every penny private track owners ask, we are going to need them.
Pit Row
I used to read the annual environmental impact studies provided by OHV/state of CA done on Hollister when I lived there because after we lost Clear Creek, I couldn't stand not knowing what their next arguments/tactics were going to be.
They've been harping on the erosion of the site since at least 2010, the feds used erosion and asbestos dust (LMFAO get real) as the 2 main chips they gambled on to get the creek shut down and it won.
