ML 512 or anyone else, do you have the Championship payouts for the year? Feld pays the top 20 for the championship I believe. I am curious how much of a difference this will make in Barcia's payout for the year.

Dude…you drank too much, it’s Saturday, it’s fine…go to bed…

You can dream about bam bam banging you in the morning
ItsSunday afternoon.

If that’s your argument you don’t have an argument.
I feel like you’re bored and just want to argue.
The only thing we know is Barcia backed off preventing a collision. That’s pretty heads up and smart riding.

How do we know that? Because video shows that. Stewart cornered in the rut immediately below Barcia, not with a rut between. Stewart then exited the corner, occupying nearly the same space Barcia’s left bar grip would have been had he not hesitated. This happened without incident.

Arguing that it was textbook or fair only stands if you ignore that Barcia allowed it, a high speed maneuver in which Stewart could have taken Barcia out, to take place without incident.

This is awesome riding and racing by both racers.

Why would Barcia do that?

Why didn’t Stewart do the same thing?

This is poor riding by Stewart.

Funny to see everyone shocked and butthurt over this. The guy's nickname is Bam Bam. He slows down and crosses over ruts to take out lappers. Been dirty his whole life. Mookie is a big boy. Let him handle it.

Stewart’s pass on Barcia was aggressive and forced. He committed and went for it at the entry with no concern for what would happen at the exit but probably hoping to have enough to block Barcia.

Barcia saw or sensed it and checked up/ hesitated avoiding the collision. Had Barcia not done that Stewart would have aggressively cleaned Barcia out. I’m ok if that had happened.

Why isn’t Stewart smart enough to do the same thing?

Why did Barcia get penilized for Stewart’s poor racing?

The fact that Stewart raced back was pretty awesome.

Are you kidding me, right? Mookie literally cut underneath Barcia on a different line and left him plenty of room on the outside with no contact whatsoever. That was a textbook pass.
Maybe he did. Maybe he would have drifted wide. Maybe he would have taken Barcia’s line. Since Barcia was in front, he may have turned down...

He intended to block Barcia on the exit.

Stewart would have collided with Barcia had Barcia not seen Stewart and hesitated to create separation.

It’s only a textbook pass because Barcia avoided Stewart.

Stewart should learn the same technique.
You’re out of your mind. Mookie was nowhere near hitting barcia. They were side by side exiting the corner and not even close to making contact.

Have you watched any replays? Barcia didn’t check up at all when Mookie passed him clean. They both held their speed and doubled out of the corner, Mookie just had more speed.

When Barcia hit Mookie it was at the end of a corner where Mookie was racing forward and Barcia crossed over two ruts to hit him going backwards.

Had Barcia at least been able to get sideways I’d almost agree with you, but he center punched him with his front wheel.

Obviously AMA thinks you’re wrong too, hence the 10 point penalty.

Barcia and Stewart gave everyone an exciting race in a series that has become boring.

I don’t known how the AMA is going to make their 2023 promos exciting if all they show is Sexton crashes, clean passes, and fireworks from Tomac/ Anderson wins. They are going to claim supercross is so extreme but the only thing extreme about it is Barcia. The second half of the season has been anything but exciting, except for this race, thanks Barcia.

I’ll bet the guy they punished, Barcia, gets featured in that promo.

I won’t pay to watch. I also may not care about the AMA or supercross at all now.

Thanks Barcia (and Stewart) for making a series that’s become boooooring, entertaining.
Vital would have far fewer posts if everyone understood the difference between the AMA and Feld.

Barcia clearly hesitated.

Stewart chose not to protect himself. Barcia protected himself.

Barcia should fight for all the points the AMA took from him and run -13 on his plates (I think that’s the total he lost this year).

As Barcia is cornering he begins to move his left leg forward. He momentarily straightens up, it’s slight but it’s visible, and his speed is reduced.

Had Barcia not done that they would have exited together with Stewart having the momentum and taking out Barcia’s left grip as they would have been together on the exit.

Heads up riding by Barcia.

What irked me was when Barcia was on the podium and tried to justify what he did. Yeah, I took him out, but I do this for a living, and everyone that knows me knew I would do it. Screw all of you. Now, what are you going to do about it. He was actually pissed at the crowd.

The Boos for Barcia imply that he pulled a punk move in a professional competition. The AMA docking him also imply that he pulled punk move in a professional competition. Barcia himself not having any course of correction on the podium also implies that it was a punk move in a professional competition.

Ace, you might be talking out of your Ace on this one. I don't even believe that you believe what you are saying. Nobody has a hard time calling this incident for what it is except for you. Trying to blame Mookie for this saying he should have checked up, watch the clip amd see how far Barcia jumps into the corner, how could Mookie know that someone would basically jump into the exit?

So by this logic, only passes around the outside are fair? If someone is at any moment pointed in the direction if another rider that may potentially cause the other rider to change his course, it's bs?

The idea of what is reasonable, clean riding is directly proportional to the prize money.

If you're racing for a plastic trophy, I'd be pissed off also. If I am racing for 100g, I'd expect that crap.

I'm not saying it is right, but it is a contact sport like it or not.

Didn't bogle already clean out Barcia, pulls a tear off, oops, sorry. so he probably lost third place right there

What makes this a huge black eye for the ama is Barcia gets to speak on the podium, doesn't apologize, literally says IDGAF it's who I am. Basically told the AMA the rules don't mean shit to him. Payouts suck and penalties suck worse, good job AMA.

I didn’t like what Barcia did on the track, but I loved how he handled it on the podium. Straight up honesty is way better than some made up excuse.

Doesn’t make his t-bone move any less awful. But if you’re going to do something stupid, might as well own it.

I 100% agree, I just think that at some point the officiating body should say enough is enough and make a point. You can't just do what you want.
