Im actually a huge Lawrence bros fan. Their story is amazing from how they made it to America. Buttttttt sx is just ramming jett down every single persons throat every weekend has made the program borderline unwatchable. They are so focused on jett they miss some good races and big moments everyweek. In my opinion its making the broadcast pretty mediocre
....but I will agree that there is an over-saturation of Jett.

But, He's proved himself now as a notable, lets just remember he's currently a 250 guy though..
What got up my nose was twelve months ago- he'd crashed out of SX and hadn't yet won his outdoor championship, but the hype was HUGE! It was kinda disrespectful to the others, despite what 'potential' could be seen.
I cant' tell you how annoying the "donut" thing got for me.
That annoyance has nothing to do with Jett at all.
However....I hope all that fawning/hype doesn't go to his head. Forkner was a good example before he got knocked off his high horse.
Pit Row
Now get him on a 450- I wanna see the best guys battle. There’s nothing left on 250s for Jett.
One can compare him to a young Valentino Rossi. Rossi and his victory skits...the fans fell in love with his personality, much like what is happening with Jett.
"In these twenty years of his career, Valentino was the center of attention for how he celebrated his wins on the track, and that involved his fan club for the occasionose: “Those were gags that people liked a lot," he recalled. "We made motorcycling known to grandparents and children and to all those who perhaps weren't fans. Those skits were successful because they were natural, since it took away the seriousness of taking yourself seriously, which maybe sometimes reigns in sports. It was just to have a laugh.
I agree the coverage may be a little biased but the dude is a superstar. I think its pretty cool and well deserved.
There is also plenty of parity between the 250 and 450 classes skill-wise. He is winning titles, but he isn’t sweeping every race. Other riders beat him. It’s going to always happen and if more fans tune in to see Jett win, they’ll be seeing new faces to follow when he loses.
Imagine a hyped up college football player falling down on the opening kickoff and instead of watching the ball they look at the great player getting up off the ground...doesn't make any sense.
between that and the announcers who have never thrown a leg over a bike...i'm glad i watch the races on replay so I can fast forward to avoid that garbage.
It would be the same thing if a different rider was leading the championship. It's not just because he's Jett Lawrence.
