hit the outdoor series. I suspect he'll be hauling ass like we've never seen before. Him and Ferrandis on equal equipment should be fantastic.

Will beast mode be the blue light on or off?

I'm still hoping for some good battles between he and his team mate.
But after last night ??
It's doubtful.

I was thinking he would have a slow start to MX, kinda like he did with SX since he is so sensitive to new setups. But now seeing as he may wrap this thing up two rounds early, I would imagine he'll get in quite a bit of outdoor prep.

When he signed with Yamaha I predicted he would win the 2022 MX championship, handily.

Looking forward to watching Eli outdoors.

I also predicted he would never get another sx win, so....there's that.

I made this thread on Christmas eve Bobby. I said " He was going to bring it "........

https://www.vitalmx.com/forums/Moto-Related,20/Eli-is-going-to-freakin-…

Some really good replies in there , with dudes saying Eli's career is pretty much over with , no beast mode left , all washed up......

Well , well , well.......Guess ol' Jeffro wasn't so far off on his telling of the future. I predict the same or even more dominate outdoors.

We actually did see it before for 5 motos once and later for about half of the nationals.

Yes sir. Eli is so damned zoned in right now. It's really magical when a rider finds that space. Head, body, bike all flowing into that zen dimension.

Hahaha this made me laugh pretty hard! Tomac is gonna be tough to stop this year. Hopefully we get to see him redeem himself at USDN!

Why will he in 1st place and Ferrandis 4-5 seconds per lap behind be fantastic? Whistling

Can you imagine how many injuries Herlings would have if he raced SX???

Some riders just get hurt more...Canard, AC, Weimer, Herlings to name some.

Yep. I am also interested to see if he is the anchor for the MXdN team. This could be a competitive year for the US with Tomac racing the way he is.

I hope he shows up at the Des Nations ready to kick ass and take names! We need a USA podium if not an outright win.

This is what I'm worried about, supposedly a new YZ for 2023. Yamaha's marketing people probably pushed through a bunch of changes to make the mass idiots happy. It'll be stiffer, hydraulic clutch, and too narrow.... #don'tfuckitup

I'd be ok with evolution changes to the bodywork, leave the chassis alone!

Gonna be a great summer! Hopefully we get a 3rd guy in there to mix it up with the two favorites.

Would be cool to see ac stay healthy and fast (as always)

I don’t see Ferrandis having anything for Tomac. I fact I don’t see him finishing the season in the top 3…

The disrespect....

Last year Ferrandis had 1 SX podium and finished 7th in points. He then won the MX championship and never finished off the podium all summer.

This year he has 1 SX podium and is 9th in points after missing time. Why exactly do you think he won't be ready for the outdoors?

It's one thing to think Tomac will beat him, but outside the top 3? Who exactly do you think is in better position to best him in MX?

I honestly can’t remember ever seeing Tomac pull a hole shot like that right off the gate like he did last night. I’m guessing he has at some point, but certainly it’s been a while.
