What are the chances it’s a 250 with white backgrounds? Or even moving up to 450’s outdoors.
If he’s ready why not 🤷♂️ It’s tough sledding in the 450 class though. I feel Hunter is one of them guys who could maybe benefit from finishing out the year on his 250…. But he’s been at this long enough between Europe and here that he could most likely jump to the 450 and be ready.
Wasn't the rumor out there weeks ago that he might be taking a dive to keep 250 eligibility? Would make sense then going to 450 if the opportunity is there
The real hot take here could be that maybe Chase crashed. Honda has to have a 450 rider and Hunter is moving to 450 to take a dive for the 250 class, while providing Honda a 450 rider...?
Looks like a pretty stock bike. Clutch cover/rad cap/forks/etc. Didn’t the supercross live page also post a photo of Craig’s bike at Daytona with the 👀 emoji? I think they’re just stirring the pot.
Hunter wont take a dive.. Hes voiced hes keen to go to the 450 and its better suited to his riding style.
Probably getting seat time and a little outdoor prep.
Hunter and Jett only get a bonus for finishing 1st or 2nd in the championship.
so i doubt he will want to pass up on that.
I reckon we see Hunter go to the 450's for outdoors and Jett Defends his title for another year.
The last time an 18 year old moved up and raced the premier class in Seattle it went horribly wrong..

Awesome race going at it with his buddy Shorty. 18 y/o Ken would probably beat the 2022 version lol

He was btw still 17 by that time, only a couple weeks before his 18th birthday I think. Unreal that he basically had the speed to pass Andrew Short that night for the win but he didn't go for it.. It was on the 350 right?

I thought McElrath also did East Rutherford on a 350 with TLD-KTM, but the Vault shows him on a 450 back in 2015.
In 2013, Tomac did 4 east races on the 450. Malcolm rode a TLD Honda 450 at Daytona in 2013, J-Mart had that one Daytona in 2017 and 3 races in 2018 but I'm struggling to think of more. HRC has in the past used Craig, Seely and Wil Hahn to fill in on the 450.
In fact in recent times Honda really has been the manufacturer to move guys up more than anyone else. So maybe there is truth in this Hunter conspiracy.

Hunter should stay in the 250 class for 2023. Jett should move to the 450 for 2023.
