Night Show Bench Racing - Detroit Supercross

Well done Tomac. As we just saw, anything can happen, but it's looking good for Tomac for the 2022 championship.

Even though it didnt look like it Anderson must have really smacked his head, he remounted and tried to ride and then just wondered off the side of the track, he didnt look too good sitting there.

Just a simple front end wash for Anderson but it was right into that little knob.

Yeah that was one of those silly little crashes that ends up at the ER. Things just go the worse kinda way.
That’s what I was thinking. He was going to see if the pain would fade enough for him to at least finish. I’m sure he understands what’s going on a little better than all the people freaking out. 🤦🏻

To everyone mad at people saying that Sexton shouldn’t have been allowed to get back on his bike a few weeks ago, take a look at what happened to Anderson after remounting. Yeah heart grit and determination are great but if you hit your head you should have to sit out. One hit to the head is bad, a second hit immediately after can be catastrophic.

Ya, my fantasy picks are LOL'd. Tons of cranage. Stoked for Eli but bummed for so many other riders. Crazy stuff going on

I reckon chiz would have got close to top 5 tonight if he raced 450s

This went from an amazing season to I probably won’t even watch the rest of it. Tomac pretty much wrapped this up. If Anderson, Webb, and Sexton are all out long term that’s a major kick in the balls for the sport.

The Anderson vs Tomac battles have been awesome this year
and it’s a damn shame that might be over.
You won't even watch the rest of it... You know full well the same shit could happen to Tomac next week, of course you're gunna watch...

Swap Jason with Eli and I would still the same thing. I’m just really bummed out right now.

Tomac was all time great tonight. Meaning he could have been bar to bar with the greats on their greatest nights. Unbelievable ride on a nasty bitch of a track.

Well this championship over. Tomac just has to ride it home.

Cooper for sure broke wrist or hand or arm
Anderson looks like a concussion.

He already has. Twice. And he came back from those to win again.

He doesn't owe anything to this sport.

What Webb just did is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. He already got landed on once, then he gets up and rides around the track for 10 minutes at walking pace with one hand on the bars. He should’ve been black flagged, and the team also should’ve dragged him in
But if that’d been Ken Roczen “gutting it out with a superhuman effort”…

Who is Justin Anderson?
Apparently if Todd Harris says Justin Anderson 3 times, Jason Anderson and Justin Anderson switch bodies. Which explains why the 21 suddenly couldn't race anymore

I agree. He was on a different level tonight. I wasn't sure until about lap 4 , and then I saw that " Beast mode " kick in. I was like......here we go!!

How many times can you mess up a rider’s name in one race? It’s not like JASON Anderson is some obscure privateer or something - he’s a freaking former champion and contender. WTF!! Get this MFer out of the booth already! Please!!!!

That was throwback beast mode Eli. Haven’t seen him in years.

Seriously though, commentating is a high pressure job but if I was paid to do it, I would look at the rider entry list and learn the fucking names

Privateer would have gotten black flagged.

P1 to P4 on factory equipment, next one is P14 (Wilson). Big $ night for supported riders and privateers.

Not to discount all the injuries that unfortunately happened, but we gotta appreciate Tomac when he's still racing. He started in 8th, blew by legit guys like Sexton and Webb, and hunted down and passed Anderson, who some people were claiming was the "faster rider". He absolutely demolished the field, and given he doesn't make any bonehead mistakes the rest of the season, he absolutely earned the championship that he will likely get. He's a legend of the sport.
