^Yep NEM 3.0. I think $5 per KW installed to offset the electric bill for the low income.

It should not be a mystery where we are headed. They said point blank what they want during their election campaign. And now I’m hearing that home foreclosures are happening…

That solar payment is more than my monthly electric bill during the middle of summer. Don't qualify for any of the special programs. So yeah, having solar and an electric vehicle would suck.

So would California telling me I can't charge my vehicle and use my a/c because the power grid can't handle everyone trying to charge their vehicles and live normal life at the same time.
Thanks brother I was going solar but now that you said that I will probably just hold steady. Now I can get that F350 I have been wanting.

February’s CPI just got announced this morning, 7.9% Year over Year which is higher than last month number (7.5%) that was a 40 years all time high. CPI doesn’t Include housing, used cars and few others things and we know those increased way more than 7.9% YoY.
Unfortunately gas gonna keep rising for a bit until a market crash. I think it’s gonna go test july 2008 ATH of $148 a barrel. 2 days ago it wicked to $129 which was the highest it’s been since 2008.

That cpi print didn’t include the latest ramp in oil prices either. I think they are saying March will be worse than feb.

Oh yes! I think it’s might run until this summer when gas demand is the highest.
But there are so many variables that it’s hard to know when it will stop . March 15th they are going to do the first rate hikes so it’s gonna be interesting.
Wall Street is fearing that right now. Should be only .25% that’s what people expect but it could be .5% which could impact the stock market and crypto more.

Have you seen what gas cost in Russia? $1.46/gallon on Monday. It pays to be energy independent and we were until the current regime was elected

Typical when demand outpaces supply. Sure would be nice if there was a way to get some supply out of Northern America and a huge pipeline to help move it

I agree shutting down the Keystone Pipeline was really stupid. I’m just not so sure it being open still would affect gas prices much? Surely someone more involved could educate me and I would change my opinion. Like I said, I’m not a supporter in any way. But I also like to call it how I see it. We have a lot of different people commenting here from all over the world and we all have the same issue with rising gas prices 🤷‍♂️ I could be wrong and way off base here. If I am then I would absolutely change my opinion.

Tump almost had the pipeline built and Biden shut it down. We would have cheap gas if the pipeline was going.

The pipeline would have had ZERO effect on gas prices. It was meant as a delivery system for shipping crude oil to U.S. shipping ports meant mostly for markets overseas.

Second, the pipeline was only meant to transport tar sands, the dirtiest and hardest type of oil to refine once it actually gets to a refinery. The oil transported from Canada was intended to flow to Gulf Coast refineries, which export a large amount of oil after it has been refined into petroleum products. According to the EIA, exports from the Gulf Coast have steadily increased 2005 and hit an all-time high in December 2021. The countries who received the most of those exports in that same month were Canada, France and the United Kingdom.

Third, at the time the cancellation occurred a little more than one year ago, the Keystone extension was only about 8% complete. Thus, the project would have likely taken years longer to complete since construction only began in April 2020. Even if Keystone XL had been fully completed, the expected 830,000 barrels of oil produced per day would never have been guaranteed to all go directly to the U.S.

Why do so many Americans think the pipeline just pumped gas out of the ground that we could then put directly into our cars and bikes? For f's sake.

Already priced in.

What we are witnessing is a dismantling of the entire financial system, as it has existed since 1971 when the dollar was taken off of the gold standard and put on the petro standard. The petro standard is now broken and so we are waiting to see what the new system will be. We could easily provide all the resources we need, right here at home. But of course the New World Order freak show doesn't want that.

If this goes anything like financial reset's in the past, gold will be revalued to meet current debt levels and/or we have a blow off top leading into a deflationary melt down. Russia and China have plenty of gold reserves to back their currency, we haven't audited our gold since the 50's. Either way, gold wins.

"Almost"....like only 8% of the pipeline when it was killed? Got it...so close. LOL. Similar to the 453 miles of "wall" Trump built along the U.S. - Mexico border leaving only 1,430 miles left of a 1,933 mile border. Got it. And thank goodness he got Mexico to pay for it...Oh wait.

Any honest solar advocate knows the life span of the panels and that there is no way to dispose of them, at least today.

Solar panels covering 80 acres looks horrible. That is so shameful to Mother Earth. In Tn. Everyone is driving 85-95 mph yet. The rates r really low. Yet fuel is 1.50 higher than gas. There pushing for electric trucks yet there is not a single charging station .last I heard the batteries weigh 40k . Now you need more trks on the rd because they can’t haul much cargo. Not much for pay for installing solar fields 80k for a supervisor. I delivered to 119 Nottingham rd elkton Md. a narrow non trk route rd. It was a field for a solar panels. There is more structure than you would think. I said it looks horrible and where are the wildlife and deer supposed to graze and eat now. He said Americans love solar fields. I said naitive Americans don’t. He didn’t like it but it’s true . When your driving you won’t see deer or animals in a field anymore.

You think you’re getting ripped off in the States. Over here in the UK, the garage closest to me is selling unleaded at £1.62 A LITRE!!!! Let’s break that down, 57.95p of every litre goes straight to the treasury but then they add 20% VAT to that figure. The UK motorist has been ripped off for years, we get charged for driving in certain areas if our vehicles don’t meet to certain emission levels. These zones are slowly getting expanded. Our roads are awful, full of potholes, road works due to lack of maintenance which the Vehicle Excess Duty (yes another tax with have to pay yearly if our car isn’t eco friendly) was meant to pay for. Our roads are massively congested. I live right near a major river crossing in the South East of England & yep you guessed it, we have to pay a tax to cross it, both ways. I believe it’s £2.50 each way in a car. Our government hates vehicles but loves the money it generates. They’re trying to push electric cars big time but they seems to forget that electric cars don’t use fuel so they’re gonna be losing out on a huge amount of tax. But I’m sure my government will find another way to tax us.

They are going to get you with a tax on miles travelled. They are already studying it in the US for electric (and maybe gas too) cars. I had some import/export training, and it said there is vat on the item value and the import duty. They literally tax a tax in the EU.
