I worked a crash site while in the Marine Corps outside Yuma, AZ when a plane lawn darted into an orange grove right after takeoff. This is very similar to what it looked like on a smaller scale. The engine compressed so much we literally loaded it on a pallet then onto a flatbed. I think that was spring or fall of 97?
I was working at General Dynamics in Fort Worth when a guy got it wrong in a F-16 (he was a F-18 pilot) .
He splashed between the runways and it damaged most every A/C on the flight line. Bunch of 52s at the time.

Not much of a hole in the ground. I think it depends on angle of attack.

What we see after a plane crash has a lot to do with attitude. It's hard to compare one to the other.
What angle was the A/C at impact?

Hey Bill,
It wasn't a Military Plane.

The Roswell incident did not surface again until the late 1970s, when retired lieutenant colonel Jesse Marcel, in an interview with ufologist Stanton Friedman, said he believed the debris he retrieved was extraterrestrial.
Gothca, thanks!

If it's official MAGA wear, I am confident he gets a cut.
He's a businessman, remember?
A marketing and trademark genius, so he says.

In the past, the way all that worked was that the proceeds went to the campaign and it was sold by the campaign.

When you ever see Bush, Clinton or even Obama merch stands on a street corner?
There are store sell MAGA merch.

No way he's letting someone make a dime on his name without a cut, no way.

If he is, there goes any brilliant businessman claim, because he's in the catbird seat to demand a cut.
Sorry Not really true.

A little more complicated. The official hats are made by Cali-Fame in California who makes a profit off of manufacturing the hats for the Trump campaign. All of the profits from selling the hats are considered political contributions to the Trump campaign. neither Donald Trump nor the Trump organization has any ownership stake in Cali Fame.

Additionally, many companies, primarily in the far East, also manufacture the hats and sell them in the United States and elsewhere. All the profit goes to those companies and the retailers that sell those hats. Technically, these hats are illegal.

Conspiracy Theory: that the FIA wanted to protect Michael Schumacher's record and set up Lewis Hamilton to lose the world title in F1 this year to Max Verstappen. (who shouldn't have won)

Damn Tuggy you know alot about this. We all know where the campaign money is going don't we? Do you get those ridiculous emails from them still? I never did but I've seen them and jeez, no better business than scamming people out of their social security checks, just ask the casinos. Lotta flea market Trump stuff, I thought about getting some MAGA ninja stars made (4 point, 4 letter) but never went thru with it, figured you could double your money pretty easy with some alibaba crap laser engraved.

Anyway the biggest scam is starting a 501c3 nonprofit. Like how Elon donated 5 billion dollars worth of stock to an anonymous charity instead of paying the taxes. I wonder what charity? I wonder who's on the board? I wonder if the money will ever get spent on anything worthwhile? Maybe the charities will just by some of these Russian yachts at the fire sale.

True dat, there is probably nothing about a non profit that is non profit.
I worked for one and for a company that was so humanitarian and philanthropic they certainly needed to grease an awful lot of politicians and had an army of accountants pretending they were always broke. Meanwhile they were literally buying up properties left and right along with other small businesses. Crooks. all of the executives had multimillion dollar salaries and golden parachutes. Meanwhile their employees are told they are broke also. Raise? oh sorry money is tight. lol

oh sorry missed your other political action committee thing there. Yeah another total scam. what percentage goes to where you think it goes.

Who knows?

I agree with this.

My point, and my belief, is the side hustle Chinese stuff you see on street corners.

My conspiracy belief is, Trump is making money off all that side hustle merch, not what is sold through the campaign.

Sure, some are opportunists, but IMO, majority is all a Trump side hustle

If he is not getting a cut, honestly, no animosity, but seriously, I'd be disappointed in him. Be the first time, but yeah, I'd be disappointed in him if he or the Trump Org is not somehow getting a cut somewhere, even if a kick back from the RNC (illegal) written as something else

A more realistic F1 conspiracy theory for me is when George Russell stood in for Hamilton. He would have won had Mercedes not mixed up his tyres with Bottas’ at the last pit stop.

Yeah, like Mercedes make those sort of mistakes…

I reckon the 20th-place guy winning the minute he gets in Hamilton’s car would have undermined F1’s and Hamilton’s credibility too much.

No part of me believes the Government planned 9/11, or planned covid, or planned any of these school/mass shootings or any of the other "false flag" nonsense I see on youtube every time something bad happens in this country...but I absolutely DO believe that the government uses them as an opportunity to take away freedoms (to grow bigger and bigger).

And on the lines of my prior post, a conspiracy I do believe in....no part of me believes that climate change is affected in any meaningfully significant way by humans.

The Climate has always changed, and will always change...it will one day change enough to wipe humans-and possibly all life forms-off the earth...we humans are along for the ride, no matter how "green" we are.

And governments (and the rich people that are controlling them) know its happening, and know that humans aren't causing it...but know that if it is natural and unpreventable, and if it isn't pinned on humans then they can't monetize it, and legislate it...so they are using it as an opportunity to grow and get bigger and take away freedoms (and the rich people controlling the governments get to be even more rich).

That's an interesting take, if the climate is changing what do you reckon is causing it?

I think there's a conspiracy among governments (and the rich people controlling them) that know that it's happening but they believe they'll be dead by the time it's a problem and their ancestors will have enough wealth to be setup on either an Earth satellite station or the moon or Mars.

I think the whole deal should be reframed as climate control. Imagine if we could control atmospheric pressure you could make it rain in the desert, and dissipate hurricanes and tornados before they have a chance to do damage. Also be useful knowledge for terraforming other worlds.

Uh oh, we have a problem.

We agree on something.

I too believe that global warming is most likely a part of the natural heating and cooling cycles that the earth has done for a few billion years, give or take a couple million.

THAT SAID, it doesn't mean that we can't do better as the allegedly most intelligent species on the planet *couch*cough* on cleaning up after ourselves or seek alternative ways to do things to reduce emissions.

We can do better, but we can't fix nature.

What's causing it? The same thing that caused the last ice age...and then caused it to end...and the same thing that has been cause the earth to heat and cool since the beginning of the earth.

We humans are, relative to geological time, been on the earth for like 5 seconds..not to mention how little time we've been on the earth and have been "industrialized" (like .0001 seconds relative to geological time)...

It just doesn't add up, that ALL THE SUDDEN humans are causing the climate to change...If it had never changed in the earths history and was now suddenly changing...then I'd believe humans are causing it....that's not the case though.

Well...I won't tell anyone if you don't. Us agreeing can be our little secret. LOL

And I think we should take care of the environment for the same reason we take care of our homes, and our yards....so we have a nice, beautiful, and healthy place to live...not because we believe we are saving the planet.

Exactly

The industrial age has been what, 250 years now? In the grand scheme, that's a blink of an eye.

For billions of years, volcanoes have spewed millions of metric tons of CO2, CO, and more crap into the air in a day than we put out in years. Planet has cycled hot and cold many times.

I know there is the "it's worse" or "it's faster" argument, and I accept that and agree we should do more to protect the rock we live on because there isn't another to go to.

I am not against going green and trying to do better in our lives at being neater, cleaner and more respectful of our environment for everyone.

You can agree with the data on historic temperatures and atmospheric chemical composition, and agree that it has a role in how much solar heat is retained in the atmosphere and draw the conclusion that humans have no effect on those numbers?

The first casualty of politics is the truth. Climate change was politicized over 30 years ago. Once those bastards have the bullhorn, you really have to scrutinize everything you hear and read. Even then you don't know for sure.

"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."
Mencken

Enough has pushed through the fog of bullshit so that it's apparent that change is happening. I'm not, however, biting off on all the doomsday scenarios that the alarmists have inaccurately predicted.

The arrogance of humans to think they are causing it and further arrogance to think they can control it.

And of course just guess what they need more of to combat climate change?? More of your MONEY!!!

It’s all about the $$$$$$$$ and control.
