What has happened to the 94!? It's the weirdest shit to watch on the broadcast. The leaders are lapping him he's rolling the whoops like Jeff Alessi and we are supposed to be ok with all this lol? He really needs to come out and say what the fuck is wrong at this point. I'm sure the Honda brass is ripping their hair out as their stars only tv time is when he's getting lapped or down. He won that season opener with ease and it's been all down hill since then

He crashed, that’s why he got lapped, as he has regularly lately. I’m sure that Honda knows exactly what’s going on.
Doesn’t look good that’s for sure and we’ll find out the reason why, sooner or later.

The big problem with Kenny, is that it feels like he goes into every season secretly wishing for a reason why he can’t win, so he doesn’t have to be expected to be at that level. Old Kenny every year said fuck it, I’m the one. I can win this, no matter what. New Kenny I think is deathly scared of that pressure, and frankly with his history it would be an easy thing to add up subconsciously. “The Pressure of winning has literally almost ended my life multiple times, so I’m just going to make sure I don’t think I can win”. Easy.

As absurd as it reads, I agree. Mentally I think he’s over it. He has had weird sicknesses and things for years which I’m sure he was, but the body often follows what the mind is telling it. I’m not a big KR guy but it’s definitely not the way he deserves to go out.

Its really weird seeing this. I think its all mental at this point. You cant come out, win first round, and be a top 10 guy the following rounds just like that.

I’m a Roczen fan, so I’m not beating the guy up…but to so suddenly go from a guy who is a potential winner, and almost a guaranteed podium…to a guy who can barely crack the top-10? I have no idea what’s up with Kenny, but something definitely is. Sad to see that he’s pretty much out of the game so early.

Big fan here as well. He had a large social media activity going on. He has gone silent. Meanwhile most riders are showing clips of mid week testing etc, he has nothing. Very little in the off-season also. Looking at some of Sexton testing clips, 94 is visible very little. Only clips were he and the family and surfing. Nothing wrong at all but you get what I’m saying. Wonder if something went south during that time.
Hope he can turn it around. I’m sure he is the last one that wants this type of Saturday. Guy use to glow with confidence.

It looks like he is over it. The daily grind, the injuries he had to come back from and now the depth of the field. A win in A1 and then the difficulties set in...and rumours of a divorce with Honda. I think he is done after this year.

I want to see him up at the pointy end of the stick because it makes the racing more interesting and we all know what he is capable of. If this were Major League Baseball, he’d be sent down to AAA for a while to get his stuff sorted out but it’s not, so we have to watch it play out in front of us on Saturday night and everybody speculates as to what’s going on.

When I saw his qualy speed, I really thought we would see him contend at Arlington. But first turn crashes and just no drive, I think he's done. Webb gets punted in first turn and gets back to 4th. Same with Eli last week... They have drive to win and salvage points, etc. Ken doesn't seem to want it anymore.

And a brother in-law in a chair. Not an easy thing to overcome mentally especially when its at home .

I say we give the guy a break, he was a great rider, but maybe see's more to life than winning races, which really are not very important in the grand scheme of things.

I started a thread a few weeks ago about the excuses he makes and how he finds reasons why he cannot win dating all the way back to 2020 and there 7 races in Salt Lake City. He had like three different illnesses including supposedly a serious one and then the next race just a couple days later and was flying. I also said I truly wish he could figure it out because he is clearly so much better than this. The responses were lynch mob level, so I just deleted the thread. It's all mental and for whatever reason he just doesn't have it......and the bike may need help too, but it's the same bike as LY so that's on him as the rider......and Chase looks awfully good on it.

This is just a normal recency bias. Lately he has sucked so jump on the bandwagon.
And we have been saying the same about Webb until he got a race (not overall) win.
Remember, Kenny has an overall win this year, not Webb. If KR goes the rest of the year without a win or drops out , retires all the prognosticators will (finally) be right about Kenny.

Who is to say HRC drops him… really surprised KTM stick with Marve. Be t the same move to give him a 1-2yr deal to finish out his career? This would keep the seat warm for Jett.
Has he made enough cash to call it quits?
I get he may have beef with Honda brass but he has to think about the other sponsors that are sending in checks. No reason to sink the entire ship.

This is honestly a pretty solid theory. He was battling for top spot the whole second practice. Some are saying he crashed or ate a Marvin. I'm talking big picture. This is 7 rounds of horrible races since the A1 win but has shown speed in qualifying. It would also make sense that he can't come out and say what he wants to. Which is probably the bike is shit and I can't get what I need to be competitive.

What would you like the media to do? Honda isn't going to talk, Kenny isn't talking, Kenny's inner circle isn't talking. Where the hell are you going to get any info on the situation from. In other sports the teams willing tell the media if their star player is injured. If they play through the injury win or lose they are still a hero. In Moto we are the complete opposite. An injury means an excuse or comes off as whiny
